They were in Detroit a few years ago and I got a great massage from them. Unfortunately, they had a bad experience - bunch of guys here scheduled and then nearly all of them cancelled, so they said they're unlikely to return to Detroit any time soon. :-(

DO NOT go by me...I am a very heavy tipper, and please no lectures. My tipping drove my parents nuts. I am too old and set in my ways to change now, so spare me the logic, there is none for this behavior...I tip almost straight across the board 25%, and yes I tip on the tax...ok ok I can hear you guys screaming now, but it is what I do. Had lunch the other day, meal was 17 dollars, the waiter was extremely nice and friendly and VERY cute, I slipped him 20 bucks as I left the cafe...My reasoning is that it is something that makes me feel good and since there are no children to put through college, no wife or second car to support, no large home I have to support, I have the extra income, so I do it.

 

When I am with friends, I never let them see me tip because it would drive them crazy as well, so all of this is done on the down-low...I tipped 'Tim and Thomas' somewhere around 40% now that was a little mistake in math on my part, but when I caught the error, I really didn't care....I certainly didn't lose any sleep over it.

 

In the end I guess tip what you feel the service is worth. I have friends who won't tip escorts or masseurs, as they feel that the money is basically tax free anyway. Some tip a straight 10%, so it really comes down to personal choice.

my philosophy has always been (as far as "adult service providers) that if the person is self-employed (ie not working for an agency, company, etc) He has set his own rates and therefore I do not feel a tip is necessary. Not saying I might not tip a little extra if I feel "blown away" by services rendered. In the case of Thomas and Tim's massage, I received a 2 hand tantric massage from Thomas. His rate was $185/hr. Here is phoenix, that is pretty much the rate for most full service escorts. The massage was very good. I believe it was worth the price, but to me, to pay above that amount for a "non-penetration" massage session is not something I would normally do. If the provider works for an agency, then I believe a tip for good performance is justified since he is going to have to give a share of the rate to the company.

Well there you have it...each to his own. Like I said, most my friends just do not believe in tippng escorts or massuers. I had that discussion this very day with a friend who was about to get a massage. I asked what he was going to tip and he said, "nothing" the fee was the fee, period. There was some circumstances that where a little different here, but basically he felt that what he was paying was more than fair, and he was right... I respect that, and do not judge other than to say, that is not me...

The guy I use too go to didn't believe in tips. He said those of us that are certified and licensed shouldn't get or expect tips. He said you don't tip your Dr or chiropractor. I can see his point. regardless I never turned one down lol I've noticed the best tippers are also those who work in the service industry. hair stylist, waiters, bartenders. escorts, other massage therapists. We tend to believe in the karma of tipping if we ourselves tip big it comes back too us

I totally disagree..that is what my parents used to say, but Doctors and chiropractors make big money, seriously. Most people in the service industry rely on tips and escorts and masseurs, while sometimes lucrative, do not have the income as a doctor, so I feel that a tip is always nice...BESIDES my doctor never gave me a "happy ending" So no tip for him....LOL

let me amend/clarify my prior statement. I am a restaurant manager by profession, so I completely understand the nature of tipping. For someone (adult service provider) who is on the lower end of the price spectrum, i am much more likely to tip for good service. But for someone who is on the higher end of the price spectrum, it takes more to earn a tip. So if I am getting a very good $75 massage, i am much more likely to tip than if I am good a good $175 massage.

Mine either, but I can always hope. He's cute and he's on our team. At least I'm about 99% certain he is.

 

I must say, I really enjoyed looking at their website about their services. It was very well done -- very professional. If they ever make it to DC, they'd certainly be worth meeting.

I tend to over tip as well. But only when I feel a tip is deserved and I always, always tip my regular guys(who know me and know what I like). The only time I didnt tip a masseur was when he brought up "tipping" before I was even out of my boxers." The tip should always be my call, not his!
