Without reference to whomever this thread is about, the guarantees against free speech are generally against government suppression of one's right to express himself. This forum is not sponsored by the government but rather by Daddy's good graces. He has no more obligation to put up with a boor here than you would if one crashed your dinner party. Rather, decency suggests he has an obligation to protect his other guests from these folk. This is Daddy's party. If some lout crashed an event of mine, he'd surely be shown the door and not invited back. I wish there were a lot more policing of such behavior, not less.

IMO, the perception of "gloating" or "taking pot shots" is subjective. My active experience on this board only goes back to 2006, but from my perspective, this thread is pretty tame and respectful.

Please excuse the fact that I am beginning this post with a little background about myself. I first joined this forum on December 5, 2003 and have posted 2,200+ times. At the time I joined Hooboy was still alive and operating the site. Many, who were active at that time, and even earlier, will remember participants like Woodlawn (?) and Doug69 (?). Those guys and several others make the sites current villain, jj, seem like the Virgin Mary. Hooboy was considerably looser on what he allowed than Daddy. Hooboy ran the site with his rules and Daddy is currently running the site with his. That is the way things were and are. This playpen belongs to he who owns and operates it and he makes the rules PERIOD. Daddy felt and, I am sure, continues to feel that jj needed time out – FINE end of discussion.

 

I find it extremely interesting and informative to learn that after nearly ten years on this site I am a troll. I really can’t believe that amount of sanctimonious, pious dribble being spewed forth by a number of posters on this thread regarding jj the arch villain. Would somebody please explain to me who this guy murdered, tortured, and/or raped. Would somebody please explain to me whose life this guy destroyed? Do some of us have so little self-assurance and self-respect that we quiver and fall apart at the slightest nasty remark, directed towards us by someone on an anomalous web site? I have no issues about how daddy runs this site. It is his prerogative who he chooses to send on a time out .

 

What is disappointing is that a well meaning thread started by Steven Draker has turned into a slugfest of insults directed at JJ by posters who were as offensive as JJ had been and are insisting that anyone who expresses views to the contrary are either trolls, should move on or be ignored. If posters have the right to take pot shots at JJ when he is on time out , then others have equal rights to defend him. Equality is not a one way street.

Well I just finished reading this thread and basically the names are different but the story is the same.

I was sent away for a week one time and was surprised by it when it happened, felt it was unjustified and generally was annoyed. I waited, I came back, I made no changes in my behavior and I continue to post when the mood strikes me.

As for JJ, I trust he will do the same.

Quite frankly there a bunch of you fatherfuckers that annoy the hell out of me. It tends to be those same people whose posts tend to be the most entertaining, even if it is only in a burning car wreck kind of way, and also it is those posts that at least invite me to look at my own thinking in a different way. So, to all of those just plain irritating people posting here, thanks and carry on. I will be there posting counterpoint and hoping that some light creeps in.

In all fairness Zeyfer, he did not exactly do it to your face. Calling someone names on an anonymous message board in cyber space is VERY different than talking to them directly. While some have said that their comments would not be any different if talking to someone face to face, I think you just have to try and visualize that kind of nasty exchange taking place with another person in face to face confrontation. I personally have never seen anyone in my life have that kind of exhange of nasty words with another human being in any setting, but then again we all have different life experiences. I certainly have said things here and in PM to other members that I would NEVER say face to face. I am the first to admit that I am guilty of that.

 

This format protects us from social wrong doings. Just my opinion of course, and I for one am anxious for jj to return, I would love to hear his response to all of this. He certainly deserves his "Day In Court" as it were...

First, I see no way to parse that sentence so that 'Jew' is a verb - it's either noun or adjective in that sentence.

 

Secondly - that second comment was in response to your comment about 'good circumsized Christian cock'. and 'cum not Kosher?' Are you saying he can't be Jewish because he likes uncut? I disagree that Freedom of Speech is a solely a government issue.

 

There are many ways to oppress another’s ability to express themselves openly

that have nothing at all to do with the government. Here, in our little sandbox, Daddy has

that power. I do agree that no one has a RIGHT to Freedom of Speech on a privately owned

message board. Nonetheless, I think it's a pretty important issue and will always attempt to

defend it.

 

Just because Daddy has the RIGHT to oppress Freedom of Speech, doesn't mean he SHOULD.

It's a dangerous sword that rarely cuts with any accuracy and often does more damage to
