I've been hiring for a few years, but not so active in hiring escorts - small town in the Provinces of New England.

I've had a regular fellow who I've grown fond of, and he seems to reciprocate - but that is not the issue here.

We negotiated a week to be in Walt Disney World. Again, expenses taken care of by *Moi*, but I wondered: What would be the going rate for Saturday afternoon to the following Saturday afternoon? A previous accomplice came down with me to WDW during the 2006 winter olympics. Great fun, and my contribution to him was $2000. (Previous weekends, friday evening to sunday mid afternoon had been $1200).

My proposal to my regular fellow was, indeed, $2000. he accepted.

What think you all for that as a rate? The room is one bedroom, full kitchen, balcony, on Disney property. And, of course, all admissions are my responsibility, including my electric convenience vehicle.

Comments and / or PM are appreciated. I'm really looking forward to this trip!

Oh, whilst I'm at it: How to divvy up his fee? 1/3 up front? Rest at the end of the week?

We are traveling together on a plane.

Thanks again - Sir Gallahad [i finally made it to Knight!]

You seem like you've got it under control, to me. The only thing I would do in a travel situation like this is have a contingency plan in case something goes wrong (you get sick, he gets sick, there's a family emergency, etc) and one or both of you have to depart early. It happens—I got sick in the middle of a trip once, and while I stayed with the client instead of going home—all "funtime" stopped right then because I was contagious. I was paid for the fraction of the trip I completed. Agree on what happens and how much gets paid—and do this before you go on the trip. You can either divide the trip rate by 7 and pay per completed day, or you can pay a third in advance (personally, I wouldn't pay any more than this up front) and have the remaining balance payable at the completion of the trip.

Thank you! Maxwell, I knew you had some smarts. Fortunately, the tickets are movable for no fee. He's never been to WDW, so his enjoyment shouldn't be an issue - but you never know.

I really appreciate the input on howmuch and when for fees!

I'll be interested to see if working guys get more specific than Max. This kind of topic has popped up repeatedly in the past and my take way is that "it depends" and often is directly or implicitly negotiable. The factors would include: How much day job or escorting income is lost by being off for a week (does the trip fee at least compensate for this)? Does the trip eliminate certain costs (e.g., biz costs for someone who mostly travels)? How desirable is the destination? What are the other intangibles (gym time, email time, chill time, a knowledgable host)? Someone whose circumstances permit taking off a week with few negatives and who wants to see WDW might accept a rate that's no more (and often less) than a typical weekend, which this guy has done. Someone with more to lose and a different set of travel interests might want substantially more unless you were offering the kinds of dream destinations that have been identified by individual escorts on other threads (Bali, Amsterdam).

Congrats Gallahad -- both on the knighthood and on doing things so right. As others have said, I think you're on the right track. The $2000 rate is a great rate, but you are also offering a lot too that your guy will no doubt enjoy. I know a lot of guys will discount their rate for something they really want to do.

The when to pay is always a sticky question. If this is a regular guy that you plan on seeing after the trip as well, I'd have no problem paying the whole thing ahead of time. If something were to come up during the trip (illness, etc.), you could always work things out later. I know I talked to my Palm Springs date on Friday and told him I'd probably pay him in full a week or two ahead of the P.S. trip. I just don't like the idea of traveling with that much cash. But if he's comfortable with the 1/3rd up front, that's fine too. Whatever you two are comfortable with is what matters.

And a suggestion -- if either of you are coffee fiends, you might want to research where to get a good cup of coffee. That Nescafe they have at a lot of disney places is nasty stuff. You might want to check out some of the disney forums I found passporter.com a great resource.

Have a great time. And as BVB said, a full report will be expected upon your return. Enjoy!

Only one additional recommendation....that I follow even when flying gents in for a weekend...Consider buying a travel insurance policy for the young man...in case he doesn't have medical insurance, etc...might come in handy....

frankly, I'm the one more likely to come down with a catastrophic illness ... i think I can fund his getting back home easily.

Any vegetarian suggestions for greater Disney World?

Any vegetarian suggestions for greater Disney World?

Seeing that vegetables and I are merely acquaintances, I went and did a quick search. Here's a link to a newsletter on allears.net (a disney fan website) with some suggestions for Vegan dining. Hope it helps.

I know from experience it helps to have them covered.

Hired a very HOT Czech escort for New Year in Berlin. He shows up, hot, muscular, beautifully blond god - comes through Immigration, sneezes loudly, and damn, next three days he is sick, sick, sick with complicated flu (complicated by his previously taken steroids, and some "infections"). Spent 3 days using all my skills to get sympathetic gay pharmacist to give me right prescriptions for him - he recognized my date from porn films and wanted to examine him personally -playing nurse, and finally sent him home by train as flying was out of the question. thank God for GayRomeo where - after I sent him on his way- found a really HOT Austrian who was an amazingly hot and athletic bottom to work off my pent up feelings!!!!!
