they're probably bi but don't want to use that word "bisexual" or they could be gay for pay or they are gay but hate using the word "gay" due to issues. it could have to do with insecurity issues and it makes them feel more masculine. are they still munchin' on carpet............? i doubt it.

Some, I think want to retain the ability to claim they are straight if relatives or friends find out. I don't think it means anything, but you do need to get specific about what you want him to do.

If an escort advertises as "mostly straight" that is a cue to me to "walk on by" and look elsewhere. How can a "mostly straight" guy be sufficiently present for me to feel a part of the action with him? He'll be so into his own head fantasizing about someone else (who has completely different plumbing from me) that there cannot possibly be any meeting of the minds for the session to satisfy me. I realize there are guys who like to believe that they are so fabulous looking and sexually mega-talented that not even a straight man can resist them. I think there is no single right answer to the OP's original question. A good portion of escorts lie about there sexuality on the various websites for "marketing" purposes. Some don't want to be seen to be "gay". Others don't want to be seen to be "straight". It seems that 20% of the escorts on Rentboy claim themselves to be "bi".....which of course is absurd. There is no way that 20% of the male population is "bi". I think it takes a trained eye and allot of experience to sift through the BS on the various sites. I feel I am fairly experienced at that.....but even I get fooled sometimes before the first encounter.

Whenever an escorts states in his profile that he is straight or mostly straight I move on IMMEDIATELY. I also tend to select escorts who state that their sexual position is versatile. There are so many MORE things I can do with versatile guys than I can do with exclusive tops or bottoms. I'm all for open mindedness and variety.

I never had it happen with an escort, but I met a younger guy last summer who had a "girlfriend" and was mainly straight. Let me tell you, when this "mainly straight" guy got in the bedroom, he was 110% gay and damn good at ALL aspects of it. I'd love to see what his skills are when he admits he's gay.
