From what we know, only one picture (the one with the butt) doesn't belong to him.

Until Gilbert comes forward to set the record straight would you tone it down just a bit.

Pretty, pretty please.[/color]

Steven, that's not exactly true (unless he has an excellent plastic surgeon).

As far as "toning it down a little bit," don't be a patronizing dick—you'd be upset (and rightfully so) if someone appropriated your pics (or reviews, or anything else with "Steven Draker" stamped on it) and called them their own.

The whole point I'm trying to get across is that this board is worthless if people aren't honest, and clients not only allow escorts to commit fraud through misrepresentation, but actively reward them simply because they luckily happened to be good in bed. Likewise, if a client gets mad at an escort (or one escort at another)—they shouldn't be allowed to post a fake review. Granted, I don't use the board for advertising, and although I have reviews currently posted on this board—I don't use that profile anymore, so they don't benefit me in the least. But I DO direct my clients to the board so they can make hiring decisions about other escorts they may see in other cities, and I think it would be an awful shame to watch what should be a great resource be ruined because people have variable standards of integrity when it comes to posting honest reviews. If Gilbert had a good time with his escort can overlook the deception—awesome. It still remains to be seen. But other clients may not feel the same about having someone show up at their door with dick in hand, and the dick and the hand don't match the pics. That's so not cool, and if you were the one spending the money instead of making it, you'd feel exactly the same way.

If a client, in this situation, posts a review that accurately reports his encounter AND states that the escort who showed up was not the one pictured (and provides an accurate description of the person who DID show up), that is an HONEST review, whether the overall tenor is negative or positive. And the readers are entitled to make their own decisions based on the complete information.

You've made your feelings on the matter clear, but it's beginning to feel like you're insistent on telling everyone else here what they 'should' do, when opinions and priorities vary according to the individual.

I disapprove of using someone else's pix, but if the person who shows up resembles those pix fairly closely, I don't think I'd grumble too much.

Max, not that it makes things right, but keep in mind advertisers deceive us Everyday, and its up to us as descerning people to CHOOSE what we want and dont want. I dont disagree with everything you say, but I am also saying that the client has a huge responsibilty in this as well. And as the old saying goes, "the customer is always right". Well maybe, NOT always.

Very few good choices.

I would take caution not to overstate the importance of honesty here. If the board is entertaining, the worth of the board is relative, and that has little to do with honesty.

There will never be a litmus test in the escort business, as long as the business operates underground. Anyone who thinks all reviews are legit and Daddy's verification process is fraud proof, is probably someone who still believes in a tooth fairy.

The best way to stop photo fraud is for one escort to sue another. How many escorts are set up with attorneys to protect their business interests?

The second best way to stop photo fraud is to ask everyone who cares about this issue to publicly report what they observe in the marketplace. It's not a perfect choice but it does help many men make a smart spending decision.

Bottom line this whole thing then ... most escort encounters are NEVER REVIEWED ... of the sub-set of escort encounters that are reviewed, Daddy's Reviews get some but not all of them ... of those who post reviews to Daddy's Reviews, a small minority of them regularly post on the Message-Forum.

So while you've continue posting negative review, photo fraud and lying escorts, please remember you're preaching to the choir. You aren't addressing the perpetrators, and probably not many of the perp's clients, you're addressing a small group of men who enjoy the Message-Forum.

And while I can't quite read between the lines, it seems to me you started with a hypothetical case and have ended with you being the injured party - but I don't know, for certain.

What I know is that you aren't understanding the points that others are making. Like my point - All I'm trying to do is get you off the concept of negative review, the connotation is that the entire review is negative. I don't think that's fair. There may be elements in the review that are less than flattering, even negative, but how often is any review entirely negative or entirely positive?

As to fake reviews, I'd suggest you re-read the Terms and Conditions of both sites. I'd also suggest that you don't know all the work that Daddy does to confirm the veracity of a review. I fear that in your ignorance of the facts, procedures and processes that Daddy follows, you've judged reviews as 'fake'. I have done that, but over time I've come to realize that Daddy knows more than I do about the reviews and if Daddy posts it, it's passed his sniff test. I may think it's a fake, I may discount the review, but I ain't gonna besmirch Daddy's reputation as an honest moderator of HIS Board. I also try not to bite the hand that feeds me.

But what about the customers and escorts who douse themselves with cologne? Some of those men's fragrances that sell for a pretty penny at Bergdorf's, and could start a biological war, are powerful enough to disguise an unbathed man with a week's worth of cheese under his foreskin.

I tend not view anyone's olfactory senses worthy of god status.

The only way to verify an escort review is: the customer must step up and say, "Yes, I was so-and-so's 3 PM appointment on Jan 2," revealing the alias name he uses with the escort to the escort, and the username the customer uses on the review site. After a few short steps, all anonymity goes out the window.

This may be fine for a glowing, lick-ass review. But for a negative review, I would not want the escort to identify that his "3 PM appointment on Jan 2" was me. I do not think most customers who write negative reviews would welcome the escort knowing (remembering) what the customer looked like.

The only way for a review system to truly work (like they do in NYC colleges with teachers), reviewers must be guaranteed anonymity. (Which means fake reviews can enter the process.)
