Does anyone know if there are many escorts who don't advertise online and maybe just do it by word of mouth or local ads? There seems to be so many advertising on the internet I was just wondering how many more we may not know about who don't use the internet.

I've been propositioned by several guys on Grindr and Scruff who were offering their "services" for $$$. I didn't recognize their pics from any of the traditional escort websites. I also recently had a nice-looking young man hit on me in an LAX hotel lobby-bar, only to realize upon further discussion that he was an escort who frequented that hotel bar regularly (instead of advertising his services online).

Over the years my favorites have been guys who were once porn stars or escorts, who have moved on, but are willing to meet if you reach them, and they don't have to advertise and they trust you to be discrete. There have been posters here who have talked about guys they meet who don't advertise. So I know it happens.

It is very interesting to me that in the old days, escorts did porn to raise their demand and price, but now days, the "agents", "producers", "webmasters" discourage the actors from advertising and so they do tend to keep it very quiet. I have a couple on the side who trust me because if they were found out it would hurt their "regular" adult acting work.

Very true, MrBigTL, I know of others who have been contacted by agencies or companies to do work however they cannot "escort" while working with them. Go figure! I know personally, I don't always have an ad up on the pay-for-ad type sites, i.e. RB, M4RN, but I do still meet with folks either via this forum or people I've met in the past.
