I have looked at the massage sites off and on over the years. I didn't used to look at them as often as the 'straight' :rolleyes: escort sites ( pardon my pun) , but I've recently moved to Dallas. A large number of the escorts advertising here currently are tops, more twinky- or at least slim/slender and not athletic, black- and before anyone says things- I've been with black escorts before- but the type I like are the clean cut muscular, extremely handsome ones- the ones currently advertising in Dallas are more of the thug or slender types. So a lot of the escorts currently advertising in Dallas are not my cup of tea. In the past say- 8 years ago Dallas had a lot more muscular- athletic guys who were versatile.

 

So I've been looking at the massage sites a lot more. On a recent thread here, it was mentioned that some of the ads on massagem4m.com might be fakes. The ads' only purpose being to get people to pay money for private pictures and videos. I hadn't heard about this before- but it made me wonder. There is one guy in Dallas/Ft Worth named Rhys that I've been interested in. He says this is his home locale, but he has an SF phone number. He has nice private pictures and a video or two. I've called him several times, and he never returns the message. After reading the recent post about fake ads, I wonder if his is one of them.

its fake if you look one big clue is the photos have a massage m4m watermark on them. massage m4m pays models to come in do a photo shoot sign a release then massage m4m sets up fake reviews a google voice number and massage m4m collects the money from those pics and video views. now not all that have adult pics are fake ads but those with a massage m4m watermark defiantly are

If you are looking for a good massage in Dallas I would recommend Robert on the same site - notice he doesn't have private pics or videos. If you are looking for an escort/massage session he probably isn't your guy.

Josephga, I'm not sure I understood your post. Are you saying the Massagem4m.com site itself is running the scam?

 

imo yes because lots of guys have adult pics and there's don't have a massage m4m watermark on them.. a ad on that site can run as high as 249.00 a month. imo a individual isnt going to make enough off pic and video sales to justify this scam. there are actual masseurs who are real that have adult pics and videos to view at a price. they dont have that massage m4m water mark either..

That guy has had a rentboy profile and a profile on A4A before so I'm not so sure he's a fake. Poor business practices maybe, not not necessarily a fake. I agree that the private video/private photo/watermark combo are usually signs that it's one of Massagem4m's "promotional" ads. They're fairly easy to recognize and I still think Massagem4m is a valid site. I've found many of my favorite guys on there.

Which is precisely why I prefer using Masseur Finder over this site. At least there is no scam to get me to pay for photos, and I have more of an assurity that an ad is real if I find a guy advertising on BOTH sites (but, oh, I said that already!)

 

But Masseur Finder deletes bad reviews completely. At least with massagem4m you can see the bad reviews if you pay for the premium membership. I see both as having bad practices.

Yes Travis I completely agree. MF masseurs can delete any bad review. While M4M might be conducting business a little on the side, at least with my premium Membership I can see everything. I can not tell you how often I was about to hire then saw a series of bad reviews, they can really save you a lot of money.

MassageM4m, under the name "EMMedia," solicitis models for porn shoots. They take photos, sign a release, make a few hundred. What the models don't know is that "EMMedia" creates fake ads with their pictures. EMMedia makes a google voice account for these fake ads. Usually the ads are of young cute white or latin boys. There are always dozens of photos and videos available but you'll never get in touch with the guy. This is a clever trick. How do you tell the ads are fake? Usually tons of pics/videos, no response via phone, and a catchy line at the end saying "CHECK OUT MY PRIVATE PICS AND VIDEOS"

Somewhere I found a blog on this guy but it hadn't been updated in a long time, so it might be fake too. Lohengrin, where did you see his ad at? He looks a bit like a guy from Chicago who advertises as straight but also advertises overnights- that guy is more muscular than Rhys though.

Hey Gman. The ad was on Adam4Adam. I know, I know, I shouldn't bother but I've met a couple of cool people on there, pros and otherwise. Anyway, his ad was up and stated that he had been visiting the LA area. He was advertising more as an escort but did state that he had some massage experience. Per, YoungCLient's explanation, he could be an escort/model who sold out for a photoshoot but still works on the side, or at least, appeared to be when I saw his ad. :)

I have stopped using M4Mmassage for this very reason. I am sick of seeing someone I'm so excited to use only to see they are fake....many of these same profiles show up in many of cities AT THE SAME TIME. I travel alot so I know this for a fact. I am glad someone finally started a thread about it,

Don't know who you've tried but there are two great guys in Dallas in Ethan West and Logan Brock. Both have stellar reviews. Cant go wrong with either of these guys.

 

Tried to connect with Patrick Bogan in the past but couldn't get a response.

This ad for Rhys is 100% FAKE as are the reviews that go with it. A similar ad ran for other cites, with reviews for dates where I know for a fact he was in So Cal. And Rhys's real name isn't Rhys. Would be uncool to out him with his real name, but he is bona fide.Str8 DL (more bi-curious, imho) with a beautiful long-term GF. Total jock. Loves to blaze. Was in the Navy after h.s. but not anymore. Now a tattoo artist. He is VERY nice and likely would be open to offers of ca$h from generou$ guys in the So Cal area. So hmu if you're interested in a brokered intro and we can take it offline. We chatted about those fake profiles and he was pissed, but as I told him: once you take your cash and sign the release, you have no recourse. Chalk it up to being young and naive. So was he was younger when he did the photo shoot for M4M? Because while I can see the tattoos look the same, I don't think if hadn't told us that Kyle was Rhys, I would have known they were the same.

 

As for being bi-curious-in the video he certainly didn't look really enthused about being there.

 

On a related subject-while they both had really nice tallywackers, wow-what a large scrotum Dan had!!! When he was sitting down, it actually touched the couch!!!:eek::D
