I read Brent Corrigan's fascinating story on Wikipedia. It looks like he's going by his real name now in his more recent movies, Sean Paul Lockhart (he also has a listing under the real name in IMDb). I followed the link to his web site, and he seems to be advertising his services as a non-sensual escort (i.e. accompanying people to functions), although his website curiously does NOT specifically state that he won't escort in the more traditional sense:

I would imagine that if he were to offer his services as a full-service escort, that many men, probably myself included, would pay many days' wages for an hour in the sack with him. Of course, if I lived in his area, I would probably pay a pretty penny just to have him accompany me for dinner once. Yet I find it curious that his website does not specifically say that he will not perform sensual services. Anybody have the scoop?

An honest from the gut answer? He has learnd that a sucker is born every day, and will be willing to pay an obscene amount of money just to say "I was with Brent Corrigan" -- and he is now selling himself (or more renting himself) out simply as arm candy for the masses to be on some idiotic red carpet and "be seen" -- and I am sure that just that fee alone to be arm candy is a few days wages. Frankly -- never liked his style, always felt him to be too twinkish, and this just seems to me to be crass opportunism.

In general I would also pass on anyone, not only a pretty boy, who has a cocky attitude and high prices. To clarify, are you saying specifically that Brent/Sean is cocky and has high prices? If so is that based on some kind of contact or actual meeting with him, or just a perception from his films, blogs or other media? I'm not a huge fan of his work but he never really came across to me in his films as cocky and I have no idea if he has high prices or not (I haven't seen any price info on his site for his services). I just want to suggest that we be fair to this guy.

 

And I don't agree with adriano46 that it seems to be crass opportunism. To me, it seems like he is taking a serious approach to marketing himself and not unlike a lot of escorts, exotic dancers, other porn actors, etc do as well.

 

And btw, where do you find these pretty boys that are "a dime a dozen" that you mention? Based on Rentboy and similar sites, it seems like it is more like $2400 a dozen (for an hour of their time). :)

While I'm not one of them, I'm sure there are people who would consider it worthwhile to pay simply for his company, and if THEY feel they get their money's worth, that's fine with me. As we've seen here before, not everyone agrees on what's 'worth' paying for (fetishes, companionship vs pure sex, certain 'types', etc.), so that makes the definiton of a 'sucker' a personal judgement as well.

Indubidably! But then again you have to make the $$$ while you can and starting out very young IF your smart and can hold on to it for the day when the "Stardom" has faded and it will...he could be one of the few to survive a Porno Past!

 

P.S.I do wish he'd change that "Bouffant" though! :rolleyes:

Yep...Brent Corrigan is my weak point. I've always admired him and have always thought of him as a Prince among men. If given the chance, I would meet him in a heartbeat. I could die happy then :)

 

He's always very kind to people on his TWITTER and he treats his fans very nice. He retweeted some funny thing I said via TWITTER to something he said and I was happy for some months afterwards. He may have his "bad qualities" but I've never noticed them and I've always admired him for his kindness to everybody that he meets. A true class act indeed.

it's funny, I am not at all into twinks, but Corrigan is the exception, find him very very sexy (although the first picture here would never make me look twice-think that's an awful photo of him)

 

He's been doing this for years- so how twinkie can be still be? I agree the second picture is much better except for the fact that the poor child seems to have an embedded fish hook above his right eye and doesn't know it. I hope is able to get it removed soon and is up to date on his tetanus boosters.

This strikes me a bit of Rupert Everett's 1990's, self admittedly, semi-autobigraphical book "Hello Darling are You Working?" (though not nearly as witty). In which his "protagonist" Rhys Waveral, down on his acting luck, decides to become an escort. For what it is worth and if it makes a difference to anyone about their views on or interest in meeting this young man, Brent has done some bb videos. I am aware of at least two he has done ("Take It Like a Bad Boy" and "Fuck Me Raw", both by Cobra Videos). Just my view that while he may be handsome/cute, he isn't too bright.
