Who Brings Saftey Supplies

A dumb question to some but. I travel alot. It is difficult to carry liquid items on airplanes these days. Your hotel does not always carry lubricant. I have had a number of rentboys show up with no lubricant or condoms. And the agenda for the evening had been discussed. They knew I was flying in. Yeah I always carry condoms, but not XL. Any suggestions.

I generally travel with lube, as I like to JO every day. Some brands come in 2-oz sizes. Alternatively, buy a 2 oz leak-proof plastic bottle and put your favorite lube in it. TSA and your fellow passengers will not know what you are carrying. Another option is to inform the escort that you are not travelling with lube and ask them to bring some. Regarding the XL condoms, I suggest you buy some and pack them.

YOUR health, and protecting it, is YOUR responsibility. The supplies needed are up to you if you're going to require their use.

It's *nice* when your partner is like-minded and has his own supply on hand, but it's YOUR responsibility to protect YOUR health.

The rest is just logistics.

Dont hire XL excorts and you wont need XL condoms. Your regular size that you always have on hand will do.... One thing off the list.

My suggestion would be to ask/inform the escort that he is/is not responsible to bring the party favors. Communication is everything during the planning stage.

I guess i was trying to make a statement rather than a question. i find it strange that a number of rentboys have come to an appointment with out any. I always am prepared. However, unless these guys arent planning on doing anything or want an excuse not to, dont you think they would be prepared?

You'd think that, but early on, I learned that it is not always the case. I'm just saying that a quick mention of who brings what during the planning stage can avoid disappointment. :)

(But don't assume they always will. Best to have your own, just in case.)

Jesus, what kind of guys are you hiring, gentlemen? I have never been with an escort who didn't have supplies on hand. It's a business expense for them and fully deductible. You're probably already paying enough - do you really need to bring your supplies? That's like going to a bath house that requires you to bring your own men. Not saying you shouldn't bring your own, but the pro here should be the party responsible for the safety of all participants, IMHO.

Good question.

I can't remember how many times I've run out to the store to buy supplies when travelling, only to have the escort appear fully prepared with his own preferred stuff, and mine sits unused.

A really thoughtful escort will say during the preliminary confirmations "I'll have everything we need", so I don't need to ask. If they don't, I'll often just ask "will you bring supplies?" And the answer has always been "Yes."

Reading this thread had me laughing out loud, remembering an experience with a dancer in Montreal a few years ago. Here's how I described it to a friend:

The date with T resembles a comedy routine. He calls at 2:25 – he's just jumping on the metro and will be there in 10 minutes. Twenty-five minutes later he calls again – he’s walking down the hallway to my room. I open the door to find him in a very skimpy muscle T-shirt and carrying a skate board. The chambermaid passes and does a double take. Why is he late? He forgot his backpack, had to go back home, and decided to skateboard over. He was supposed to bring lube; now he realizes that he forgot. But there are lots of sex shops in the area; he'll run out and buy it now. He only has $5 with him, so I spot him $20. He leaves his skate board and backpack. As he's leaving, he pulls out a joint and asks if I want to share. No? OK, he’ll smoke on his way to the sex shop.

If he hadn't grabbed me and kissed me, very well, when he first walked in, I would probably have cancelled at this point. Ten minutes pass. T calls again. He’s walking up and down Ste. Catherine and all he can find are "fucking Foot Lockers, no sex shops." I tell him to come back, I probably have enough lube to get us through.

During the past years during my travels, I've carried my toiletries and other items, e.g. lube, poppers, toothpaste, etc. in my shaving kit which travels with my carry on bag and me.

Thus far I have not been stopped and asked to open the shaving kit once it has gone through the scanner. As far as condoms go, I have been carrying an assortment of sizes; if the

escort fails to bring his, which most of mine have not, he's given a choice as to size.

When I went to Argentina and Brasil last October, I took a lot of XL's with me. The guys in Brasil (Rio), especially those who work the saunas, loved my Trojan Magnum condoms; I

left some with those guys of whose company I truly enjoyed.

Ideally all participants should bring condoms and lube. But it is completely understandable that many clients may not as they may play infrequently or find it awkward to purchase or carry condoms or lube while traveling or for discretion.

I think it is completely reasonable to expect an escort to have lube and condoms and even a variety of them unless he specifically tells the client otherwise. While I nearly always have condoms etc there have been exceptions. While out doing completely unrelated activities I have gotten a call from a client. Well coincidentally I'm 5 minutes away but have no condoms/lube and so need to go home or to a shop if the client doesn't have supplies but does have the time. So I'll ask.

It's a good idea for anyone (but especially we escorts) to find out where sex shops are in a new city and to get in the habit of noticing drugstores, 7-11s, even gas stations and bars that one passes on the way to an appointment. All of which often have at least a crude selection of supplies.

These days purchasing or carrying condoms or lube is hardly noticed. Certainly cashiers, hotel staff and TSA see so much of it that they don't even notice or care.

Since I am strictly and ORAL guy, should I just bring the condoms and lube anyway, sorta like bringing a muffin basket as a hostess gift ?

Or will my Mouth just be sufficient ? Education is Power !

everyone should be taking responsibility for their actions and intended actions. escorts should show up with condoms for "insurance" and it also helps the client feel more comfortable knowing they are not dealing with someone who is wreckless. yes, lube is not airport friendly and doesn't pressurize very well. when the client arrives at where ever they are they also should make an effort to go to the store (CVS,ECKARDS, RITEAID). the client and escort should have had the quick talk before meeting. if you discussed fees then you should be discussing condoms & lube.
