Oh I know, I know. It all goes back to the "hate to say no" part and how frustrating it is when people turn into weirdos at the drop of a hat. The past two weeks were amazingly good—this week is shaping up to be horrible. I just need to slog through it and move on.

He asked earlier how much it would be for a multiple hour appointment. I said: take the rate I gave you, and multiply it by the number of hours you want to meet. I already gave him some ridiculously high amount for an overnight hoping that he would turn it down (which he did), but padding just in case so that if he took it I'd at least get paid extra for having my "buttons pushed" and my "engine revved" for 8-10 hours.

Maxwell, I certainly feel your pain and agree with some of the other posters - to tell him, gently, how to not "waste your time" when off the clock. I experienced this with a client when I was new to the game years back and it went quite well.....for a few days, then the barrage of "bullets" began again, hahah.

 

I was so frustrated, to the point where you're consumed with other chores, family, school, studies, day-job, etc. that you get that one text/email/call that just sets off any and ALL dynamite in a 10 mile radius. Not really, but you get the picture. Hope you can get him to calm down!
