I would agree with JimBoi on this issue...that the Hookies do tend to be rigged based on who A) Advertises a ton with them; in the Diamond/Platinum auctions B) Has shown up to Rentboy endorsed pool parties, etc. C) Has worked with Rentboy/On the Hunt collaborative shoots.

 

A client that I count as a very close friend as well- someone who I earnestly hope that I have the wit and sexual vitality of, at 64...met some of the folks from Rentboy at a pool party in Fire Island 2 summers ago. He expressed his exasperation about the number of fake advertisers and rip-offs, and asked the programmer why Rentboy didn't do more quality control. The programmer looked him right in the face and said 'why would we? THEY(the rip off escorts) are our customer; not you'- you should do your due diligence when booking an escort.

 

Fair enough- it does fall upon the client to put in the effort. However, it does seem to be caveat emptor when hiring through Rentboy! That's unfortunate.

 

All the more reason why I think that Rentboy is suicidal not to outsource their quality control/reviews to someone like Daddy- and take a workload off their chest. In addition to ditching work and enhancing the quality of their product...they're encouraging an industry to police itself.

 

Brandon Cage and I put the fear of God in an escort in Vegas who was grabbing money from clients then running out the door- we had him come over the hotel with the intention of 'seeing us', and shook him up a bit when he got up to the room and we told him we heard from several clients what he was doing.
