You said you were quoting from a text, not the tattoo, so I took that literally.

Sorry, I meant that the text dated a couple hundred years back but that the tattoo (or the Pepper himself) is of course much newer. But the text from the Westminster confession or Ecclesiastes or where ever does seem to be the basis of the tattoo as I recall.

Anyway I thought I made it clear a few posts back that I had actually read the tattoo. Which is why I said "seriously". When I say "seriously" I mean it.

You'll find that pretty much most of what I post here in the message forum (even if it seems far out or wacky) has something to it.

My life (and house) is truly filled with enough unusual and interesting things that I very rarely resort to making things up.

But I do have a good and silly sense of humor so I realize that a lot of people probably think I'm only being silly.

For example in another post the gauzy rind of nutmeg really could refer to mace and mace really is a spice used in

Christmas cookies.

And my nominee is....

i hereby nominate purplekow's post as

BEST CAPTION OF THIS THREAD!

i believe the tattoo says that the owner of the body is not responsible for any medical conditions which may begin or exacerbate while riding the escort. It goes on to say that those with a heart condition are advised to consult their doctor before undertaking any activity with the escort. You then have to sign using your tongue on his body part of your choice.

No doubt about it that Purplekows post is representative of his billiant and hilarious sense of humor.

But my post was/is to the best of my knowlege factual. So even if truth isn't stranger than fiction I think we can all agree that truth

is a pretty close second.

I was pointing out PK's caption....

In reality this quote you've posted comes from London Baptist Confession of Faith of 1689 which subsequent Baptizers have adopted and adapted overtime. It might just have it's roots in the Westminster Confession of 1646 but knowing the Baptizers as I do, they wouldn't give credit nor directly quote from the Episcopalians...

Now I'm really dying to know: how did you get to actually read the tattoo?

Maybe you should hire me, just, of course, to see if I might not have the same declaration written in Latin. Or maybe a verse from the Abhidhamma Pitaka on the inside of my thigh!

Does he escort?

Not as far as I know.
