Call me naive, guys, but I always though the MassageM4M.com site was reliable... Until today.

So there is a guy posting for massage, seems serious, and is quite attractive.

I sent him two emails and a friend sent one as well requesting an appointment. Three inquiries were answered with an auto-reply claiming to be "busy with a client" and directing us to his (for pay) pictures and videos on the Massage site.

If this is not some sort of scam they're running, well.... I dunno what!

Scam what 'am!

This issue about massageM4M has been addressed before in other threads. Yes, you ain't gonna go no massage from the masseur ( read: model) advertised, it is a buy pics/ video post only.

This is the main reason I am hesitant to sign-up for their Premium Membership, what other scams are they pulling...

thanks for posting, glutes.... i was not exactly sure how to do a "keyword search" for my issue with the M4M site, and I had not previously seen posts of the nature you point out but it does make me feel a bit better to know that it was not only of concern to me.

pity, 'cuz i liked the guy and would have certainly contracted for the real thing.... so, his loss, right?

I started a thread several months ago about the same thing with links to a few ads that were fakes. I'm surprised Kai doesn't have any "reviews". The owner of the site is the one responsible. I think the first time I noticed something was amiss was from "Richie's" ad when he was listed in DC.

Bottom line is that the site is promoting scammers and I cannot believe that whoever manages the site is unaware of that.

Very few guys rely exclusively on that site and I plan on "voting with my feet" by I avoiding making contact with people via that site from hereon. There are many options out there, lord knows, and we deserve better.

nynakedtop, you should not only vote with your feet, you should tell M4M what you think of their scam by clicking the "Feedback" on their site. Yes, this scam has been going on for a long time. dcguy20 mentioned Richie in Washington, who has been doing that on M4M for more than two years. Travis69 is right about deleting bad reviews on various sites; he's correct about being able to see the unfavorable reviews on M4M with a premium membership. If you intend to use the site, it's a good idea, and costs only 7 per month. That small amount can save you a lot of grief

But doesn't massuerfinder let the masseur delete bad reviews? At least with massagem4m you can see the bad reviews with a premium membership.

Yes guys, I talk about this all the time..On massuerfinders, the site says that the massuer owns that particular advertising space and hence they have a right to do whatever they want with the space. So a massuer can delete any bad review. MF says they are not deleted but merely archived, but same difference, since the members are unable to see them. I have been saved many times by being able to see bad reviews on M4M...I will only use MF if the the massuer comes recommended by a member of the forum. You just have to take into consideration any number of things when selecting a masseur.

Absolutely right bigvalboy. In reality I use both sites before hiring a masseur. I will check out first Masseur Finder because I prefer their search engine, and it gives me the general idea of what I want (noticing too that many advertise on both spots). I then check out and mix and match with MasseurM4M and their site (without the ability to read the reviews, as I find the premium thing a bit too much to swallow, and was ripped off on the pay-for-view parts too.

There is a third site, much less reliable, http://menbodyworkers.com/ but it introduced me to one of my favorite NY masseurs at the time, Yan http://www.menbodyworkers.com/male-massage/profile.asp?ID=1100, who is about the only guy I went to repeatedly for months until he changed his phone. I only recently re-discovered him... and then on Masseur Finder is one of the absolute best in NY for me, Harrison. http://www.masseurfinder.com/members/amazinghands.shtml

I know that I could get a glimpse of more realistic reviews at M4M but I find the mix and match works for me -- and I almost always check here to see if others have tried any of these guys before jumping in.

It is the owner of MassageM4M who's posting the fake ads. Unfortunately the guys in the photos signed a waiver for the photos and videos hence the reason why their image is being used. I know this because I confirmed with one of the guys in the photos whom I'm acquainted with.

I have always suspected this.

I have tried for 2 years to meet this guy, Peter - http://www.massagem4m.com/fl/orlando/14417/

He manages to be on the east coast, west coast, florida, Chicago, all over - and yet the ad is the same (yeah as if he has a private sauna in each apartment). I even piad out the $$ for the extra (rip off) photos, and yet... not once did I get a response. I imagine his reviews are also written by the site.

So besides "naming and shaming" the M4M site, is there anything we can actually do about it other than spreading the word. I know in my case I will stop using it, but it seems like a meager amount of protest to me.

I had considered upgrading to a premium user status but now would never ever. I guess that is one effective means of protest. Any others?

I am a legitimate advertiser on massage m4m and I also answer all inquiries within a few hours.... I have never used masseurfinder. Honestly, I have been EXTREMELY disappointed with the response from the site and maybe this thread explains it. For what they charge to advertise monthly it would appear that masseur finder is a much better deal at half the rate. Also, sadly, massage m4m seems to be a site dominated by BOTTOM FEEDERS and trolls. I am seriously considering exclusively advertising on the big escort sites. The massage sites are expensive and a headache for the little business they actually bring in. I agree the private photo thing is a scam. I put one on there when I first signed up cause they pressured me to do so. Now I regret doing it. http://www.rentboy.com/mikey9nola1

Like I stated in another thread. these are not individuals posting ads and collecting picture viewing. these are models hired by massage m4m. they are paid a modeling fee and they move on. massage m4m creates a fake google number, fake location and fake reviews for these guys. some even have a massage m4m water mark on the photos. I get far more clients from masseur finder with less monthly cost. I also have referred other masseurs to massage m4m in which I'm suppose to received a 50.00 referral fee once each masseur was recharged after the first month. I have yet too see a dime.

Scam what am.

The old strip club saying as you enter, "Everyone is going to get fucked, and no one is going to get laid"

The more I read about massagem4m, the more uncomfortable I feel about the manager and his site.

Look at the email that Ernie & The Team send out weekly. "31 new & hot masseurs" blah blah. The first 11 are the models they are pushing, and you will never see in person.

Thanks to everyone for the input on the M4M site and Masseurfinders...I have alway known that on M4M that many on the pay-per-view was a scam, but it never bothered me until today. Think I will cancel membership as of now. They won't care of course, but if enough people do, they will take notice...BVB

Put that credit card away and the SS # and DO NOT sign up for premium...LOL just deleted my account. I hate the whole scam in the pay-per-view section...When I deleted they asked me to say why I was leaving, so I told them how I felt...talk to you soon and safe travels my friend...BVB

In the Midwest, neither site has many local escorts and M4M tends to be where the visiting guys advertise. I'm not a premium member of the site, yet despite the scam, it is what's available and most reliable when at home.

I doubt things will change unless they lose advertisers. Our monthly price point is much hirer than the small price those pay to view additional reviews. price point wise one of me is worth more than over 10 of you. A few advertisers leave and make it known why then they might change

I dunno...I think that they are making a lot more on the pay-per-view than one would think. Just to view one video or a pic album can cost 20 points..that = 1 dollar per point or $20. Notice they don't talk in terms of dollars, but in terms of points, doesn't sound as bad when they do not mention money. I spent money on album one nite, because the masseur did not have face pics. When his album did not reveal any either, then I just e-mailed the guy and he sent all that I could hope for and more. The added benefit also is that their site is filled with hot guys that keep you interested, but that do not really exist. A scam by any name is still a scam..no matter how you spin it, they are being dishonest about what they do.
