Based in their website, I'm not impressed with their selection. Also I've heard confkicting things about paying before you're even allowed to browse the selection.

But I'd love to hear about how your trip goes. I'm going to bcn in a few months for the first time. Have a fun trip!

I hear that Thermas is also loaded with Romanians, you can get 'full service' for 30-50 Euros...

Yes. Plenty of Romanian men at both Thermas in Barcelona and Adan in Madrid. Problem is half of them would have to pay me to sleep with them. The odd one can be quite attractive, but in general, not too hot. I did find one once that was nice. However I met him at Black & White bar in Madrid rather than the sauna.

Bizarre. Ok, I have not been in almost 2 years, but I went 6-7 times to Thermas or Adan from 2004 on, and I always found a good 70-80% of VERY hot men!

Sorry, I think you misunderstood me (or I did not explain clearly enough). I was refering to the unattractive Romanian guys. There are plenty of other non-Romanians at Adan and Thermas that are very attractive.

I want to experience the culture and the men who are there!

I also love to travel and experience the culture, food and the men of the place I'm visiting. My problem is that now a days it difficult to sample the "local fare". It seems common in this era of globalization to find a surplus of Brazilians, Romanians or other East European men working, instead of local guys. While those "migrant workers" (no pun intended) can be very attractive, if I go to Spain I'd like to meet Spaniards. If its Italy, then a real Italian and so on! This is not so easy any more. :(

I'll never forget a trip to Montreal several years ago, when a Brazilian at Campus told me he was Italian. I began speaking in Italian to him and asked him to speak the language to me since I love everything from that marvelous country. LOL He wouldn't/couldn't and then I started speaking to him in Brazilian Portuguese to his embarrassment. He still continued to speak to me in broken English with a thick Brazilian accent claiming to be an Italian! After I'd had my fun and made my point, I explained to him that while yes he was very attractive, I had to decline his offer for a private dance because I was there in Canada for the Canadian guys. ;) heh heh... It was after all the purpose of my trip! I'd never think of going to Athens to eat Sushi and be with a Mexican rentboy.

Maybe there are others who think like me?

Nonetheless, I wish you all Happy Travels and Happy Times with whomever you choose to spend your money on! ;)

I concur with you wholeheartedly, but if the locals are no where to be found and I am in need of this type of experience, I'd go

with an import to keep from being so sexually frustrated. But again, I prefer the natives of an area if I am in this particular

country to partake in its many, many offerings, including the hot, sexy men!!

I agree and disagree. Many of us aren't THAT travelled, and with Brazil being overpriced ( and picked over as far as the escorts are concerned), and Romania not exactly a great overall tourist destination, especially for LGBT's, I don't have an issue with finding them in Spain. But a place like Montreal, where their population is accessible, I see your point completely.
