I once had a Craigslist encounter where the subject of money came up well into the back-n-forth. Normally, I'd shut things down right then and there. But this time, I decided to go ahead and pony up what the guy was asking (about 60% less than escorts usually ask around here).

 

I'm glad I did. I've hired him quite a few times since then. He's good looking and very sexual, in his limited way. I never review him because I don't think he does this very often.

The most unusual for me happened one afternoon. I live in a very quiet and conservative bedroom community far from WEHO and all the action. There just aren't any street hustlers, ever in this area. Years ago late one afternoon I pulled up in front of the 7-11 to grab a soda. Standing outside was this really hot guy. Couldn't really tell at first but it looked like he had a nice body. As I passed him and went inside he nodded at me and when I left as I sat in the car he was just starring at me. I said "Don't tell me I am really getting hit on right her in this area" and I laughed to myself. Once I had flown in to Philadelphia to work at Premier for a week & I was waiting for my rental car outside. I get to the house and check my emails...someone recognized me at the rental car line and asked if I was available. UPDATE: Yeah, it fell apart after he insisted he normally doesn't meet guys this way (even though this was completely his idea and he approached me) and he's hot enough to get sex for free. But did I still want to meet? Because the sex would be "mind-blowing" and it would be "worth my while."

Basically, if I see any cute boy online (Craigslist, Manhunt, etc) or Grindr, I'll give him my stats (which are decent) and make an offer, even if he looks like a "good boy". About 60% of the time, they will at least want to know how much I'm willing to pay...a sign of an EXTREMELY bad economy. However, only 1/4 are ever serious.

 

I'm ashamed to say it, but the weirdest situations I've been in were when I rented my co-workers/subordinates, who were usually straight and in a bind. Thankfully, however, I've gotten better at giving legit financial advice at work. Hehe.
