"Magic Flute" in HD

The Met Opera is so happy with its simulcasts, it is doing very nice things for us.

 

The "Magic Flute" with Julie Taymor designs will be shown in theaters again on Dec. 21.

 

"Hansel and Gretel" in encore will be shown on Dec. 22.

 

And ABT's "Nutcracker" will be shown encore on Dec. 13 (at two different times in some places).

I just read somewhere that the MET's 'abridged and condensed for children' Magic Flute will be released on DVD as well...
