I'll be making a business trip to Austin in a few weeks. I was there many, many years ago, but I assumed things have changed.

Recommendations would be most welcome for:

-- massage (erotic if possible)

-- escort -- muscle bottoms are my favorite, but vers can work with the right chemistry

-- a great steak restaurant -- had the best steak of my life in Austin 20+ years ago but I'll be darned if I can remember the restaurant

-- other recommendations?

Unfortunately (and I didn't think I would ever agree with JB/BN), but Austin is MOST definitely a dead zone. There isn't a single local advertising that I would ever hire let alone make a repeat appointment with. Maybe Ethan Ayers (formerly Corbin) would work for you http://www.men4rentnow.com/ds/index.asp?cmd=view&id=104101&Login=EthanAyers.

Austin has great Tex-Mex food, as well as BBQ and steaks. If you like southern style cooking (where they even fry the pickles) you can give Threadgill's a try. For Tex-Mex, I like Chuy's... but there are other good ones as well. BBQ.. I would recommend the Ironworks or Stubbs (in the downtown area) or the Saltlick in RoundRock. For steak.. give Austin Land and Cattle a try or the Saltgrass. For a 'local' Austin experience, you can eat outdoors at Shady Grove as well.

Enjoy your trip!

Alan Ladd from Houston will be in Austin on September 29--October 01. If your schedules match, he is an excellent choice (and one of my favorites). I've met with Ethan Ayres (formerly Corbin) several times--a nicer and hotter man you will not find in Austin or elsewhere--highly recommended. For a massage (and more), I very much like Brenton Hong (aka Tommy Tam--you can find him on Men4RentNow under Brenton). Brenton has been highly and well reviewed here under Tommy Tam (you will have to pull up the old reviews, but they are still very accurate). I plan to see Brenton in about two weeks, so I can provide a fresh review.

Regarding restaurants: Pick up a copy of Texas Monthly and look at their restuarant review/guide. The commentary and reviews can steer you to a variety of excellent restaurants.

Austin is a fun city, so have fun!!

I can second the recommendation for both Ethan and Alan. Great guys, great fun. You wouldn't go wrong with either. For great steak, I always go to Vince Young Steakhouse on San Jacinto. Depending on if it is a weekend night, reservations are needed or you will wait. Great food and bar.
