Negatively-reviewed escort says it's not him

Hi fellas,

Question for the masses, I'm hoping some of you will have some insight or suggestion. New to a lot of this so I'm not sure what the next step could or would be. I have recently contacted a guy working in Chicago who I was very much attracted to and certainly wanted to move forward with a meet if everything "checked out." After e-mailing him, I did research here on Daddy's and found that he was reviewed about 3months ago, and although it wasn't a horrible review (e.g. scam, etc), he was only rated satisfactory even though the reviewer said he lived up to expectation (but was negatively rated under the Hire Again and Description parts). I forwarded this to the escort's attention, asking if he could please explain (as at this point I was, and still am, extremely hesitant) and after initially claiming that he was unaware of any review, he responded (I'm paraphrasing) that he din't know who the reviewer was, that they never met, that he wasn't even in town that week, somebody else is using his pictures, and that he has several clients who are very positive and repeat business.

Does this happen very often? Should I just move on? Am I out of line for asking to see him on cam first before meeting? I've already got 1 regular and 2 other "bench" guys in Chicago when I'm there (which, in itself, is amazing for those of you who know the market, and took several years to find lol), but was thinking of hiring this guy in case the other 3 were not available.

Sorry for the lengthy post fellas...any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers.

In my opinion, you should move on. I think your interaction to this point has soured the potential for a positive meeting, even if the review was accurate. If you move forward at this point, you're thinking more with the little head than the big head.

Question: are you communicating with the escort at the same telephone number or email address in the review? If so, why would you think he wasn't the guy in the review.

Thanks Scorpio. In fact, I checked that immediately after I posted my message, and in fact he not only is using the same phone number as listed in the Rentboy ad, but now I tried clicking on his ad again and it's a dead link. I'd completely toss this aside, but now he is willing to go on cam for me before we meet. Very odd indeed.
