Unusual! Bizarre! What gives here? I just opened my emails this morning, and there were four to five replies to correspondence which i'd written to them some time ago. Did they have a conference and decide to respond all at once?

Although I appreciated receiving this email, I found it quite strange, especially since it's been months since I'd written to each and every one of them! Today I wrote back with a line to most of them!!

I dunno...is everyone's rent due next week?

Seriously, in this tough economy, you'd think guys would be sharper in their communications with (potential) clients, but I haven't seen any improvement.

I think its really all about NEED, especially if they really DONT enjoy the profession.... "Do what ya got to do " !!!!!

It is also possible someone is using your email address to send out spurious messages to addresses on your computer. It has happened to me. The cure seems to be to establish a new password on that email account.

Merlin just might be on to something here! This Scenario did happen to me awhile back! Time to Change your Password?

Although I think the Record for my getting an email answered by a "Working Guy" was 2 Years!

Some of these guys just hang on to them "forever for whatever" reason.

I guess the questions are were the emails specifically about you, or where they peddling something like health cures or furniture (which has happened to me when my email was hit by someone using some elses's email address book). Were the emails identical? If they were, then I think Merlin is definitely correct. If not, then maybe you're sending out vibes you don't know about. I know of a certain escort who has a hisory of contacting me when I'm a bit down and somehow he knows that's the time to write even if we haven't communicated in a month or two. All this from 2500 miles away.

I've had this problem for some time with AOL. Somehow, it digs up old emails from long ago and sends them out as if it were me doing it, often results in bouncbacks, but some do get thru . AOL says its a problem with their s/w since their upgrade. I uninstalled my AOL, and reinstalled it, and it fixed it for awhile, but it just started up again....

Was one of these from a guy that we have a common admiration for? I believe LBT is talking about the same guy.

No, it was not that: I'd communicated to each and every one of them at varying times way before August 25, 2011. I'd even seen one of the men in June. My email to him had a May date. His response was: "Did you send this last night?" (8.24.11)

I'd complimented another escort on his outstanding photograph; he, too, was just getting back to me to thank me for the compliment.

Another desired to see me although neither of us could travel to the city of the other. But again, my email had a past date!

Now I'll guess that I will just "chalk it up" as being a coincidence--keeping me in a mode of ?????????? :) :)

One of the responses you received implies that he just received the email on the 24th. This sounds like the behavior jjkirkwood repprted - the email software re-sending old messages.
