VG Club in London - What's the story?

I was there a couple of years ago. Had a VERY GOOD time on two different days. At that time there was a wide selection. If you don't see anything that you like, you can come back later or ask to arrange to meet someone that is in their catalog, or at least you could at that time. I would suggest that you call them when you get to London and tell them what you are looking for.

FYI: the web site is cited in the original post (http://www.vgclub.co.uk/). There is some pricing info given on the site. Interestingly, they have loyalty cards - so a frequent visitor can earn free sessions.

Do any of these guys do outcalls? If so, what's the etiquette? Can you just say it or is it against club policy? I guess its a personal hangup, but I'd prefer outcalls. Thanks!

How does it work? is there a lounge area where you meet the boys or do they come in and introduce themselves one by one? i assume private rooms for later.

If you drop in you can see the guys in their room through a one-way mirrored door. You can ask to speak to one if you like, or the staff tell you what you need to know.

Very easy and pleasant. You don't have to choose one if there's no one there you like.

Thought I'd revive this thread to relate my experience earlier this evening.

 

I knew these premises when they were run by a Thai guy as "Earls Court Clinique" and went a couple of times in the days when Villa Gianni had a website which actually showed the escorts available. So, this was my first visit under the "new system" of daily membership and additional "dispersals".

 

In fact, as others have remarked, it's exactly the same as it's always been. £80 payable after whatever activity you choose to have.

 

The place seemed very clean. A warm welcome from the staff member who opened the door, necessary explanations were given and then on to the selection of the guys who are waiting in the room with the "one way mirror". Part of me enjoys the sense of anticipation and the secrecy and mystery of this process. Another (perhaps the better?) part of me is a little embarrassed by the "meat market" aspect and feels sorry for the guys who are not chosen. However, as in many aspects of life, not all can be "winners".

 

There were 8 guys available at around 8.50 on a Friday evening: at least 4 were Brazilian, one a Pole, another a Latvian and....sorry, I forgot. All but one were said to be versatile (ie ready to bottom). So, my lucky night !

 

I chose a Brazilian guy called Robert (not typically Latino in look) - well-defined body, friendly, responsive. A real charmer. I left with a smile of satisfaction and a determination to return. With a birthday and Christmas coming up, I can see that this is the place where I'll find "presents" to give to myself )

I agree with LONDONTOP. The place is very clean and well run.

I've noticed there are younger guys there during the day and older in the evenings.

The "meat market" aspect is one of the turn ons for me, seeing guys posing and presenting themselves sexually!

Personally while I have always liked VG when in London, prefer the more open Houses for Boys in Germany (although they are slowly disappearing now).

 

The difference with them was no one-way mirror. Once you were buzzed in to the place, you were shown into a nice, simly (but more than enough to see) living room on the ground floor where whatever models were working (and available) were there. I usually went about 7:30 PM to get the ones beginning the evening shift - more to chose, less fear of getting sloppy seconds). You had a chance to relax and talk to the guys (those who knew a language I spoke), and look them all over and finally choose one. (or more than one, which I did on occasion).

 

Too bad Noth America has never had something as nice.

I only went once to a House with Boys. In Cologne, could it have been called Valentinos? Perhaps it was a mistake to go in the afternoon since I was the only client and the 4 or 5 boys were like flies round a honey-pot. That experience in itself was novel, usually I'm one of the flies round a beautiful guy! Still it was a relaxed atmosphere and I had a nice chat and drink with the working guys. Unfortunately none of them really attracted me enough to lay out the Deutschmarks (it was that long ago), so I left feeling slightly guilty - but at least the guys had got a free drink.

 

Although it can sometimes be like a "conveyor belt" I quite like the Paragonya Sauna in Zurich. There are sometimes some cute "part-timers", appealing not only because of their looks. Last time I met a young, attractive Mexican with a very serious expression, almost a frown. A student at a German University, he had a bit more to offer than a cute ass, but, yes, the ass was very cute.

 

VG is now the only place of its kind in London and I intend now to make it an occasional port of call.

Ah Londontop... do I remember Valentinos but I also never felt it was as good or on par with the houses of boys in FFM or Hamburg. My very first House of Boys was an a non-descript apartment on the outskirts of Amsterdam (1989) and almost turned me straight it was so unnerving. Thank God I got back on the horse after that fatal bad fall (so to speak) and at a much better House downtown in the red light district, had that experience of being the honey around which all hte bees flew (and they were amazing - many from Eastern Europe). It was in a bar in FFM too -- a place LOADED with Hungarians, that I first met these guys who continue to fascinate me. One, a muscular, almost stocky workman in his late 20's, proposed we do a 3-way with his young cousin - a kid barely 20. Once we finished, he sent his cousin home and came with me to my hotel where it was one of the most memorable nights of my life -- non-stop sex until doawn, a morning sleep, breakfast in bed, and more sex -- and all for, then, 100 DM!!!!

Are there any other places like VG left anywhere? I know of American Boys in Barcelona, and I remember that in Amsterdam the movie Bruno was being marketed at a new hob there, although I can't seem to find such a place today. I heard Moscow and Bucharest had some places although they are a bit underground. It's a shame really. I'd expect with the more progressive society got the more of these places would pop up.

The SPARCTICUS Gay Guide for Europe was always the best source for these -- and it is updated annually. It was how I found places each year in Europe.

 

Moscow's scene is one to be absolutely cautious of -- unless you have no problem with the state police filming you (they are heavily involved in having cameras in these apartments used by guys... and if you are someone of "interest" to them, they will use it against you... so buyer or voyeur beware.
