After having read much of the thread on wether or not anyone is hiring,I thought putting out an e-update with special rates if booked within the month of august(not meaning the appointment be in august just it be booked by the end of august) would be a good idea. Thus far it has actually turned great results people whom I've seen before booked and even some whom in the past couldn't because of financials did. My question is what are your thoughts on e-updates with specials in them, would you like to see what the escort has been up to with most recent pictures and special rates, and escorts whom have been doing this longer than I have do you feel this is a good idea to do? Have you done something similar look forward to all the intelligent responses!

I think that is a great idea. As some of us have kind of hinted advertised rates are too high for some of us but we will sit on the side and not hire anyone or scour the ads for someone who charges something that is affordable. What we hate to do more than anything else is try and bargain or play some sort of escort ebay with your rates. So when you move to the center on rates and/or offer specials and incentives to hire you, I would expect a positive reaction from your clients and those on the fence about hiring you.

As a potential client, I think e-mail updates are a great idea even if they do not contain "specials." I work a lot, so I do not always have a chance to make and take phone calls and monitor ads. An e-mail update is always welcome. I would advise you to make sure you safeguard your mailing list. Steven Draker maintains a list. He could be a good resource for advice, if he was willing to dispanse it.

Zach.....this sounds like a good way to keep your clientele interested and up-to-date on your movements and incentives. Just check with your clients to be sure that each one wants to receive the emails. Most will say "yeah sure, cool, ok", but don't assume. Unwanted emails, even from hot guys, can be an irritant. Good idea, but using email means you miss another market, those who are attracted to you but have never been in touch because your rate was above their comfort point. I can understand why you might hesitate to advertise a lower rate to a general audience, though.

 

From time to time on some of the massage sites you will see "30% off special on Thursdays" (or "before noon" or "this week only"); is that possible on escort sites like RB and M4M? Those ads sometimes give me the incentive to try someone new whose normal rate makes me unwilling to risk an unknown.
