We don't like negative surprises when it comes to escorts. Do you think hiring from the escort agency would guaranteed that you would get what you want, in stead of just picking up random guys from the paper?

No guarantees. I used to try agencies. If they were operating in good faith, they would send the guy on their list who was closest to the description I gave and that was available. Depending on the size of the agency and how busy a night it was, the guy could turn out to be very different from we had discussed. But at least with an agency you are not likely to experience a no-show by the escort, and the likelihood of being scammed is probably much lower than if you went out shopping on your own without referring to the reviews on this site.

I'm not sure since I've never used an agency. But what has worked for me is relying on the reviews here on Daddy's and asking any questions about guys on the forum. The members here are very helpful (if occasionally opinionated ) and I feel certain that you won't get scammed by relying on these two sources. Whether it is a match between you and an escort is up to chemsitry at times, but your odds for a bad fit seem to be pretty small using the resources (written and members) that are available to you here.

I use both Maximum in NYC and Man To Man in LA and I am happy with both. First, it saves the telephone tag, waiting for email replies, etc.; it just makes contact easier. Second, it is easier to ask questions and get a direct answer (at least for me).

 

Sometimes, they have guys not listed or can make good recommendations. They can provide more pictures.

 

All in all, for me, it makes life easier.

Man To Man and Dave are top drawer/top shelf/premium. Just make sure you are specific. His guys are what they and he say they are. I understand Maximum and Premier in Phila are also reputable. I have used Premier a bit and they send what they advertise. Lately though I think their "stable is a bit lacking." Visiting escorts are often good there.

I've used agencies a lot through the years. I believe using them does not necessarily guarantee a good hook up - I've had agencies where the escort is much older than his stated age in the website, does not follow through with what has been agreed upon between the client and the agent in advance (top, bottom, oral, etc), or is simply not attractive. Agencies which don't show the face of the escort can get away with this sort of thing. My most bizarre experience is when an escort showed up with an active sore in the lips and stunk of cigarette smoke. I haven't done this but I often wonder what the agency will do if the client DID request a refund if the esocrt does not deliver. Will the agency be more willing to do so instead of an independent contractor? I don't thnk so.

The most suspicious arrangement I've found is when an independent escort is somehow represented by a third party when calling his number. In my experience, who shows up in one's door will almost always not match the picture or description, will not deliver, or will not even speak English at all.

Ultimately, in this type of arrangement, the cardinal rule of "Buyer Beware" stays in place. In my experience, I follow the same rules all the time - be as clear as possible about what you want and what the escort can/cannot do, specify one hour and not less, never pay upfront and state this to the other party on the line, be the director of the time and not be directed by the escort.
