Perhaps some guys use the term "straight" to justify their refusal to engage in certain activities. "I don't bottom, I don't kiss, etc. etc., because I straight." or perhaps it's a couple of college age kids looking for some quick easy ( in their mind) money. And perhaps, it is the dude's way coping with being attracted to other guys, as he let's you repeatedly that he's str8.

 

I agree though, labels are just that. We depend to much on them.
