How Many of You Just See "A Few Regulars"?

How many of you see "just a few regulars," as opposed to a broad "shotgun" structure in this area?

I have a few regulars but augment that with a group of travel guys that I like or want to experience. Finding regular, local guys that stand the test of time is difficult as there is a tendency to slack off and go through the motions when each is too familiar with the other....good communication can help avoid this but not always....I think variety and surprise is a key ingredent that comes with new experiences.

I typically have one 'regular' who gets probably 80% of my business. In part this is due to the fact that he is a 'sure thing' in terms of a successful, entertaining encounter; it is also due in part to a paucity of likely-compatible (masculine btm/vers) guys in my area. (I think the availability of alternatives needs to be factored into any 'analysis'. I no longer travel as part of work, and that also diminishes my opportunities.)

 

Historically, my 'regulars' have moved on from escorting after 2-3 years and it usually takes a while to find a replacement.

Yes I have three regulars.....none of which live in my city. Therefore I have to travel to them. And in some cases that means traveling out of the country. Unfortunately, I have not really found anyone to my liking in Houston yet. I have tried the "shotgun" in the past but it really does not work well for me. Great question! I used to have one regular and two semi-regulars. Recently, to my regret, one of my semi-regulars retired. I see Steven Kesslar, my regular, twice a year for extended trips to Mexico (Puerto Vallarta) plus various other overnights during the year. He accompanied me to the most recent Palm Springs Weekend. Over the years Steven has become a good friend and sexually, for me at least, he is the perfect playmate. By now we know exactly which buttons to push to get the other one all hot and bothered.

My one remaining semi-regular is Dane Scott. The only reason Dane is a semi-regular rather than a regular is that he lives in Chicago and I live on the West Coast. You are so right Seeker. I lived in Raleigh for 6 years and first started hiring there. I was set on finding a bottom for my first time and had a hell of a time. My hiring is similar, seeker. At the moment, I have a regular (who I see 50% of the time) and two semi-regulars, who get the rest of my business, except for two or three other hires a year. Only one of my three is a 'professional' escort; the others are 20-somethings that need some extra money to live in NY. My regulars usually stay 'in the business' for only two or three years. Finding a suitable replacement is difficult and time-consuming, though as long as two or all three don't retire at the same time, the remaining regulars can pick up the slack until I find a replacement.

That's very true. Seeing a traveling escort the three times a year he comes to your location makes you (or him) a regular, while I probably wouldn't call a local who I see three times a year a regular. I hire 40 or 50 times a year, all short appointments, so as I described above, I probably see my 'regular' twice a month or so and each of my semi-regulars once a month.
