I was surprised that over a 3 day weekend I didn't see anyone. Years prior to this I remember being busy for the most part. I specifically remember last year being in the pool for 6 or 7 hours and having the dreaded pool eye just moments prior to an appointment. kewl, I'm just going to start traveling on holidays for now on. I stayed in town on Memorial Day too and it was like a waste of a 3 day weekend. But I know out here in Denver, everyone is out hiking or biking on holidays or out at the parks so I barely anticipate much during weekends and holidays.

Yeah Labor Day is like the last official BBQ holiday for anyone outside of Florida.

As a potential client, I'm never sure whether it makes sense to try to call an escort on a holiday weekend. I usually assume that escorts take holidays too, and in NYC a three or four day holiday weekend is when folks with the resources to do so tend to go out of town. So I've refrained from calling on holidays.

Well, I'm generally not home sitting by the phone on holidays. Talk about a major waste of a holiday. Like for the 4th I went out Saturday night and then again on Sunday to see the show in the park.

 

However, I always like to set aside some time during the holidays as well. And I actually mentioned this on my blog and here as well. People don't seem to be as big on holidays anymore here as I remember them to be. For example, Thanksgiving and Christmas are the main holidays where I'm usually with family. But by the time 8 or 9 pm comes...people have gone home. So what is left to do? Fuck!

 

I remember one year I met clients the night before, the night of and the night after Christmas all while having too much time to hang out with family. If anything I'm THRILLED to have a client call on a holiday mainly for that reason LOL.

 

As for 'party' holidays like Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day...I'm usually home. I don't have any family for over 700 miles from here so unless it's something traditional I'm usually in town.
