How do I remove my phone number from everything google searches!

OK, completely changing the topic here to something that's bugging me more.

I have made the mistake of using my personal number for nearly all of my ads. At some points I was using a separate phone number but I got tired of carrying around 2 phones. In addition one was my regular phone and another was a pre-paid and it was starting to cost me too much. And the work phone sucked as well.

But now I think it's a great idea to just invest in a good work phone and completely change my number. I googled my number and find myself listed on site after site. 2 pages of google stuff and what's worse is some sites I never even signed up for! And I can only imagine people are probably googling my number and finding out about me. People who I don't want knowing.

Some sites have my number up from months ago. I recently did contact this site regarding my number but google is STILL showing it. I am reluctant to give my number out to anyone now and pretty much have no choice but to get a completely new number for my personal life. My phone number is linking to threads on this forum as well

I'm just wondering in the meantime, how can I get rid of it? This is ridiculous my number shouldn't be showing up all over the place like that

Motorola Nextel 1 465 . You would have to get a sprint Nextel phone. They have the capability to have two lines. Two incoming lines. You can even set the ring tones differently. If Line 2 is for business for example, you can switch to line two, to return phone calls to clients so that when the client receives an incoming call, your line 2 number will show up on their screen.

I'm a proponent of having two phones, with one phone exclusively for work with a plan tailored to the types of calls and texts I make for that purpose. Yeah, it's a pain to carry around two phones but it avoids the risk of messing up or having your personal number show up on Google searches in places you don't want it to.

I also have different service providers for the different phones, which is less economical but has proven useful when service with one provider is better than the other. This may not be an issue in some places, but in SF service coverage in some parts of town can vary widely from one provider so I like having that backup.

Yeah that sounds like a good idea. I know my service seems to disappear out in the deep rural areas, but I think AT&T gets atleast 1 bar in those areas.

you don't need two phones. you need google voice. check it out.

Google voice sounds good. I just created one now for 1 of my ads.
