Nope. Not at all. It's pretty close to the cost of a date (dinner, drinks, and brown daisies). It is a lot. And we all expect steak tartar even when we have a meatloaf budget.

There are a lot of reasons to hire. I started looking at the escort sites back in 1994 or 1995 because I was ( and to a large extent still am) closeted, but I wanted to look at pictures of attractive guys. But I am/ was different than you because there were always a lot of guys I found attractive on the sites. At the time I was also a virgin. But I actually didn't think I could ever bring myself to have sex with an escort-- or anyone else for that matter. I thought there was every chance in the world that I would shuffle off this mortal coil without ever experiencing sex. Finally in 2002, I saw that an escort whose site I had looked at for a long time was visiting where I lived. I was scared as hell, but I wanted to experience sex so much. I wanted to be able to experience what ' 99%'of the rest of the world population of adult males did. I wanted to join the club.

 

But if you can have sex without hiring or if your need for sex isn't that great and if you really aren't attracted to the guys you see advertising , then I see no reason for you to hire.
