Thank you for your email. Well isn't this informative, well documented and a damn shame. We have communicated with Daddy and received even more evidence.

 

We have discussed the situation and although this business is fraught with 'buyer beware' as its first tenant of hiring and all Escort and Masseur sites try to distance themselves with disclaimers and arms length transaction verbiage - RentMen.com feels it is our responsibility to protect the Community, our Members and visitors from well documented scam artists.

 

We do need to provide Mr. Sloan with the time he paid for but today we have marked his billing as non-renewable and taken other internal measures. We will contact him directly and advise our decision.

 

Thanks goodness for Daddysreviews in providing this documentation - the only truly independent Escort and Masseur review site that we know of. If everyone read this Mr. Sloan would never be hired.

 

By the way, the new version of RentMen due to launch shortly contains the option to internally report Scams, Spam and Scam Artists, etc directly to the webmasters. We do care, we do respond and we do hope it is noted - which is why we are adding these features.

 

Please provide us feedback if you see him post again as an alias. We request that you let us handle this matter directly and that you do not forward this communication to Mr. Sloan, please confirm.

While I understand their position on letting the ad run out (personally I would just pro-rate it and refund), I have asked them to put the link to DaddysReviews in his profile to warn others. Hopefully they will comply.

 

Still waiting for a response from Frontiers in LA. If anyone else knows if sites that Scott Sloan is advertising on, please let me know and I'll be happy to initiate contact.

I'm loving this thread and your efforts (and successes!), but do we really want to get ISPs involved in looking at escort sites or the like? I doubt they will devote enough time to grasp the minutia here (escort vs scam artist) and am not sure we'd all benefit in the end from another call for the regulation of escorting on the net. Might be a forest for the trees sort of thing.

I needed to try and deal with a similar situation over here in the UK, a few years back. It took me ages to work out how to end this kind of nastiness, but I believe I've found a method that works. Having checked this slime-ball's website out, and received a few respected Member's opinions, if you'd like info. on my 'tried-and-trusted' (!) technique for ending such games as Mr. Sloan's (to paraphrase a straight boy, "it's a Kunt, but not one to be sniffed at!"), send me a PM and I'll email back by return. I hope you'll understand that I'm not trying to put any pressure on you, or encouraging you to believe this is somehow your responsibility, it's just brilliant to see a man like yourself step up and help defend us. I wish Scott was in London, I would definitely relish the opportunity to have a pop myself.

I would assume that would require identifying yourself, and that he might be become privy to that information.

No thanks required guys. Just doing my part to protect all of us. I've been lazy about submitting much deserved reviews, so this is my good deed of the week.

 

Both Rentboy and Rentmen have asked for our help in policing Mr. Sloan. They said they will do their best to stop new ads, but with employee turnover, etc. there is a chance that he could get through again. Both have asked us to email them if his ads appear again.
