Hello, I'm Colby Jansen and I am new to this site. It was mentioned to me by a client and he said I should make an account and say hello. After looking around a bit, I honestly had no idea where to post this message. So, if I am in the wrong part of the forum, I apologize in advance.

 

I'm based out of the Toronto area, but I travel in the US a lot. As the Buffalo, NY airport is only 1.5hrs away from me, I usually fly out of there if I am travelling in the US. This way I avoid customs.

 

I'm 28, 6'1, 215lbs, former hockey player, I have an undergrad degree in chemistry and am working on a graduate degree from UT at the moment.

 

I'm not quite sure what else to post here, so I guess this is hello and feel free to say hi! :)

But a quick question. I checked out your website. Very nice. But the phone number on there is a Northern Virginia phone number. @PoolBoy - If you're in Buffalo, I get there quite often... in fact, I'm actually there at the moment, but about to go back this afternoon.

 

@Lee - I'm originally from Ohio, but I have a DC phone because I was stationed there for most of my time in the service. I am an American living in Toronto, I love it! Toronto is great because the weather is surprisingly mild and it has all the metro'ness of NYC, w.o all the crime & BS.

Hey guys, again, thanks for the compliments :-D Never hurts to start out my week with reading such nice replies.

 

Yeah, the tattoos I have are kind of because I was a Marine and kind of because I like getting them. It's funny the adrenaline rush from the pain is a very unique feeling, I'm not really into S&M, but I totally understand it after how I feel from a tattoo.

 

I have Odin's ravens, Huginn & Muninn which represent thought and memory on my traps. The one on my back is for a rugby team I played with. The ones on my left arm are, a family crest w.frillery and Scottish thistles, inside of my arm is the girl from the cover of The Real Mackenzies album "Off the Leash" with my dogs underneath her and on my forearm is a Latin inscription from the Declaration of Arbroath. I'll probably get a few more, but just to compliment everything I already have, I have no desire to cover my body in tattoos, only to accentuate my body as is.

I spent a summer (a lifetime ago) in Laguna Beach with a Mad-Maiden-Aunt, who held open-house for Marines from the nearby base. Fond memories! :o
