I really didn’t think I would say anything on this thread… In fact I probably shouldn’t but I have never been one to simply keep quiet… even if staying silent would be wise. So here it goes…

 

When I first joined the forum I said way to much about what I was feeling, doing…. Whatever. I shared freely and often got burned or scolded or ridiculed or even lambasted for my thoughts. But if there is one thing I learned it was my thoughts were rarely my own and through speaking out I have made some great friends that I would not have today if I had chosen the safe path of least resistance and stayed silent.

 

On numerous occasions, I have waxed philosophically about the limits and issues in escorting: Am I using the men I hire? Are they using me? Are they only their for the money? Do they enjoy their time with me? Do I diminish them as people? Do I diminish myself by having to pay for intimacy/friendship/sex/companionship ? I have also called myself the oldest newbie having always felt I lacked answers or understanding that so many others here my age or otherwise seemed so comfortable with. (NO Deej I don’t want the permanent newbie tag back but thanks) Had I learned a lot about escorting the mechanics (hell yes) Did that mean I understood escorting (hell no) Do I now any better? (unfortunately NOT ONE BIT) However, I have gained some insite that helps answer all these questions.

 

In my opinion, and I know that’s all it is, we get from escorting whether we are client or escort what we put into it. If you feel you are using someone.. then you are. If you feel your being used… you will be. Am I diminished by hiring for intimacy.. only if I allow myself to be. Is an escort diminished by selling himself .. Only if he allows and believes himself to be. What I have come to realize is there are no universal answers and like most things in life it all revolves around the individuals involved and the old adage that perception is reality. Is an escort there for the money (hell yes) but what does that money mean… Is it a way to pay bills… sure .. but is it also an aphrodisiac, an ego boost. Just for a moment think about how turned on you might be that someone is so enamored about spending time with you… whether for a quick roll in the hay or a week in some exotic port of call that they are willing to pay you to be with them. Tell me that might not make that person seem enticing, hell even sexy. There is something to be said for that level of devotion and the effect it has on your own feeling of self worth. So clients the next time you think he’s only there for the money…. Your right and think how sexy that just made you to him. Not because you necessarily look like some ATM machine. But because you just paid the ultimate compliment.

 

Now I know this isn’t every hire but it is some… and maybe that’s enough.
