STrange case this weekend. A client booked 2 days in advance and was all businesslike. Everything was set for an in call. i had his phone number and last name. At the end of the call he said he was hard and asked me if I wanted to, "STROKE," with him. Now, he called me at 11pm and I had just finished with my 3rd client of the day. i am not 22 anymore and my glorious nine inch cock was shot, soft and done for the night. I pleasantly told him that I was better in person and needed to actually see him to get into sex. He then asked if I webcammed and I said to him that I was old-fashioned. He said he understood. I asked if we were still all set for the appt. and he said yes we are confirmed. Well, guess what? No SHOW , NO CALL! Over the years I have had hundreds of calls for phone sex which I politely refused but never a request for phone sex after actually booking the date. then a no-show. No show- no calls are the worst thing about the biz because invariably you have told another client you could not see him at that time. This ever happen like this to any of yaLL? http://www.rentboy.com/mikey9nola1

one more thing: i did call to follow up thinking maybe something happened. I actually CARE about my clients. He did not answer so I left a nice message and 2 days later not even an I'm sorry. It was alot easier to deal with things like this a few years ago than it is now. Basic manners and human kindness have been replaced with fundamental rudeness......... clients have EVERY RIGHT to cancel but you need to actually CANCEL not no show,no call. That was one of 10 cancellations last week for me. Last 2 days have been great but if yall were wondering why I have been posting so much so as to turn this thing into my personal blog that is what 10 cancellations in a week will do to a guy. I apologize for being so verbose. Gonna take a week off from posting anything and sit back and see what yall wise ones have to say.

It would be nice if you could look for that <return> key on your keyboard during your time off.

Verbosity is a soup better served in paragraphs.

And to think, you were a theology student. You wrote all the time. I know there were no paragraphs in the Original Texts (Hebrew and Greek) but seriously, you probably had to show some mastery of English to graduate.

I wonder if your sermons were all just one run-on paragraph?

Mikey,

Sounds like this client never had any real intention of seeing you, or perhaps he just got pissed off that you wouldn't have phone sex with him. Who knows.

Speaking of rudeness.

This forum is not a class on grammar or writing skills or style.

His message was quite clear and understandable.

The client gave me his last name which ONLY serious clients do. Not stressed out at all over it but just thought it was, for me, a unique instance and curious. Obviously this forum has now been reduced to members taking mean potshots at writing skills. W.T.F. i mean seriously??? I don't care whether you like my writing style and what a waste of time and effort to comment on it. Really? Thank you to the guys who actually bothered to answer the thread as asked. I appreciate it. Does anyone here ever apologize for being rude? What does it matter how I type or write? really?

The forum did not behave like the grammar police. It was one rude member.

Unfortunately, there is the occasional person that feels a need to put down others for reasons that make little sense. You just happened to get in his way. Forget about it. Your style is fine and understandable. You are not here to impress anyone.

As to the initial thrust of what you wrote in connection with the client who wanted conversation instead of action, I think you acted rather well under the circumstances.

I'm a little surprised this doesn't come up more often, frankly.

We've heard for years that escorts are constantly getting calls from guys who have no intention of ever going through with an appointment and only want to get their jollies on the phone. Once a guy learns that escorts won't talk with him unless he's booking an appointment, he may as well make an appointment and *then* try for the phone sex he was after in the first place.

He's not going to spend any money either way, but at least after booking an appointment (that he has no intention of keeping) perhaps the threshold for "sexy talk" is lowered.

It's certainly not a leap of rocket science from A to B, but I sure hope for all our sakes that it isn't the beginning of a trend. It'll make it difficult for ALL of us to make appointments.

I've learned early on that potential new clients who want to engage in phone sex have no intentions of ever meeting, they just want to get off for free. Serious clients will not engage in phone sex, get right down to what they are looking for, give you a time, and place to meet. These calls usually run 5min or less.

In light of your closing statement in your second post, I responded:

It would be nice if you could look for that <return> key on your keyboard during your time off.

I still think it's humorous. While I think your posts are interesting, the run-on nature of paragraph-less-ness makes it hard for this visually challenged individual to keep his place amongst the lines upon lines and blowing up the font size/screen size doesn't help much - just more and more black text to stare down.

But since most people missed the humor and called me rude, and since most of them didn't read the last line of your second post to know that you were 'planning' to take a week off, the humor was missed and the candle was lit.

Therefore, I apologize to you for my 'rudeness' and humbly request that you consider anything important enough for you to post, to please consider my old eyes aren't what they formerly were.

You are so sweet INSTUDIOCITY. Thank you. Deej says I am ranting on here so from now on my posts will be short, sweet and to the point- but always nice. People will read a POSITIVE forum but a NEGATIVE forum will turn people off really quick. Let's all be positive, encouraging and help each other out.

Thanks, Mikey, but don't turn this place into the Crystal Cathedral!

*Crystal Cathedral is where Robert Schuller, the heir to Norman Vincent Peale pastors. NVP wrote, "The Power of Positive Thinking."
