I'm sorry that you didn't let me give your 25 birthday spanks yesterday, but I wanted to come here and wish you the best birthday ever. I think I've gotten to know you pretty well over the last couple of months.

 

You are truly a wonderful guy and it has been my privilege and honor to not only be your client but your friend.

 

As I said in my review, smart and sexy doesn't come along every day.

 

So take a night off from the paper you're writing and go out and celebrate. 25 is a big number. and in another 5 or 6 years, you may even get to be half my age )

Happy 25th birthday. I hope yours is as memorable as mine. I was visiting Washington DC and took a tour of the White House. Unexpectedly the President came down to greet the touring guests. This was and is a bit unusual. He stopped long enough to say hello to most of us and I was lucky enough to get an autograph. To purplekow. Happy Birthday. Abe.

Happiest of birthdays to you. Enjoy these milestone 5 and 10 year dates and I hope you learn to enjoy them throughout your life. After meeting you in palm springs you are clearly a man who enjoys his life and works hard for the things you want. I only wish that with every passing year you look back fondly not at what you didn't do but at all you have accomplished with a feeling of satisfaction. And achievement.

 

So have a blow out and enjoy the day ... at 25 you have come a long way and have great adventures ahead. Of that I am certain.

Thanks everyone for all the birthday wishes! I have to defend my capstone in 2 days, so today is going to be very stressful....but I will definitely make sure to take a little bit of time out of my day and enjoy it!

PS On The Birthday Wishes!!

 

Ryaan--I hope you don't spend your 25th birthday the way I spent mine. I was in graduate school and I met some friends at a 'dive' called Kay's in Houston. Most of my friends had been big fraternity guys. I wasn't. They assumed I really didn't know how to drink or chug beer. Well I did know how to chug-- but I probably didn't do it as often as they did in college. The special that night was two dollar pitchers of Old Milwaukee. I chugged about 7 steins of beer in the course of 2 hours. Well, that was over my limit. I spent the next 2 hours praying to Kay's porcelain g-d. My one wish was to pass out-- unfortunately that never happened. I was aware every single minute of it. My friends had to carry me out of the bar ( not because I was unconscious-- just dizzy and drunk). They drove me home in my car-- on the ride home they put my head out the window-- I needed the fresh air and also in case of any further GI complaints-- did I mention there was a freezing rain going on while my head was out the window?

 

They get me home and dump me on the bed fully clothed and leave me. This was probably about 2:30 in the morning. The next day one of my friends stopped by around 7:30 AM. He said he wanted to be sure I was still breathing. In case y'all were wondering-- I was. I missed class that day and for the rest of the week. Three days later I still had a headache-- very mild at that point but still there. For a long time after that, I couldn't drink beer (anyone remember Mr. Pavlov and his dogs? I think I inadvertently conducted my own ( self) experiment in classical conditioning) To this day 25 years later-- I still can't chug beer like I could before that little episode- although I must admit--I haven't really felt the need to chug beer over the last 20 years or so. :rolleyes:

Happy Birthday Ryaan. As I have said numerous time, I see many exceptional abilities in you. I hope you can find something you really like to do and devote your life to.

 

RexAll - The Capstone seminar is required for students to complete a certain master's program.
