yeah, i know. if you read the sentence following it you'll see that i already addressed that.

by the way, how does escorting sound to you? safe?

Aaron, you are acting like an addict. So far you have avoided responding to any of the several suggestions here to get help with your drinking, and now you are starting to pick fights with points other people have made. This is classic addict behavior. I only say that because I've seen it way too many times before.

You have been kicked out of your apartment in Portland by a sympathetic landlord who nevertheless ran out of patience. By the sounds of it, you have also burned all your bridges in Portland so you are looking for help elsewhere. The help you need is at AA. Go to a meeting TODAY, this afternoon or tonight and get your life back on track. Avoiding the issue will not make it go away. You will not be judged there, and you will meet good people there who will be able to help you.

And when I say I have seen this too many times before, I have also had a number of friends and acquaintances go to AA and through recovery and get their lives back together. It's really sad to see someone you care about spiral down in addiction, but really great when they get cleaned up and are functioning and happy again. On Friday I went out with a group of friends, two of whom had both struggled with addiction and who seemed like lost causes at the time, but went to AA and are now getting their lives back together and we're enjoying each others' company again. It's really great when someone you thought was lost comes back with their life back together. When you go to AA you will meet people just like you, who have struggled with drinking and can relate to what you have been going through.
