Hey guys..you were most helpful the last time so am asking another question. I have been seeing this escort guy for about 4 years. He's not a professional escort. I found him on Manhunt and asked if he escorted and said he had thought about it but never actually did it. We connected and we've been meeting monthly ever since. He is employed full time and has a busy schedule and he indicates that I'm the only person he escorts for. I pay him $400 each time we meet and we generally do something social then come back to my place to enjoy each other. I took him an an all expense cruise to the Greek isles last October and are planning the same this October to Berlin and Amsterdam. We relate well together and find each other easy to be with. He's 46 and I'm 62. Here's my question. I've been paying him $400/month for all this time and am wondering whether one gives an escort a raise at some point when you're seeing each other for so long? We haven't discussed money since our very first meeting. Thanks guys.

Fully Surpassed All Goals and Objectives

I'll refrain from the personal opinions I may have on this topic BUT I will say this.

If you're thinking of giving him a raise, then what's the performance review like?

Well..he's got a gorgeous hairy body and is thin and short...all my preferences. My only criticism is that he tends to be rough on oral..but what a great kisser!!! I just enjoy being with him and being affectionate. My only point in asking this question of escorts is..if you have a long term client..do you expect to raise your rates over time or stay with the original rate you agreed to??

I say that if you feel like what he is providing is worth more and you can do it, go for it. Another thing is that it could seem to be a tip. That is fine too.

Agree..I personally don't believe in TIPS per se. But certain circumstances between a Client and let's face it he is a "Working Guy" are "Financially" Your Call.

He's probably doing alot better than alot of the NYC Working Guys in this Economy!

If you are satisfied with him and want to express that, increase the amount you give him 10-15 percent to 450 or 500 a month. You can justify it to him about increasing costs in a tough economy in a casual way without creating resentment, insecurity or busting your wallet, and he'll be thankful for your consideration.

topguy,

I have a similar situation. I have known this "boy" for about 7 years. He's now approaching thirty, and is very into what we do. He is also officially straight. I have not given him a raise even though over time he as improved his level of services considerably. And while I care about him, I have not adopted him. What I'm suggesting is not to become too emotionally involved. I did once, and when push came to shove, I got hurt. So just be careful, and do not forget that the bottom line relationship is client/escort.

I've been escorting for a couple of years now. Though I feel as if my rates are still very reasonable, they are slightly higher now. I still have a number of regular clients from my first year of escorting. I've never asked any of them to pay the increased fee. I think that since you've been seeing this guy for about 4 years now, offering to give him at least $50 more a month would be more than fair. He may even be thinking the same thing and doesn't know how to bring it up.
