Why Only in the US?

Hi Guys,

 

Why are there sites like Daddy (or MER or Cruising for Sex) only in the great US of A? I didn't find one in any other English-speaking country, and I don't think there's one in other countries as well...(I don't mean sites like Gay Romeo with reviews; I mean 'full volume' sites like Daddy.)

 

Is it a matter of scale? leadership role? culture?

Are American gays more 'talkative'? inquisitive? sharing? horny?

 

I find the question not only interesting, but also practical. I'd have no problem in finding an escort-companion (of the BFE kind) before I arrive for a trip in the US, using this site; I WOULD have a problem locating one in any other country...

 

Of course, if my premise is wrong, I'd be happy to stand corrected.

There is an escort forum in Argentina (foro-escorts.com.ar). It is not exclusively gay. Covers female escorts primarily but does have a gay section that is quite well attended. Not as extensive as daddy's, but at least gives some information and plenty of discussion about individual escorts. Of course, everything is in Spanish. I am not aware of any others.

There really seems to be a considerable number of reviews for escorts around the world here on Daddy's. Non-US escorts certainly have been coverboy on numedrous occasions. And there certainly are forums for non-US escorts here as well: South of the US, European Escorts, and one for Africa/Asia/Oceania.

 

This is an impressive group of world travellers here. If you ask, I bet someone can come up with a recommendation for you almost anywhere. Who knows? Maybe even Vatican City

Daddy's, MER and Cruising for Escorts are based in the US, but global in scope and content. In Canada, www.canadianmale.com, while not a dedicated review site, incorporates extensive reviews. The concept of escort reviews has never really taken off in Britain/Ireland to the extent it has in North America and they have no dedicated gay review sites. I don't know the situation Down Under. I guess that about covers the English speaking world.

GayRomeo only has a place on the site for clients/fans to comment (if the escort leaves that option "open" on his name) but it at least gives you something.
