If what you are looking for is a masculine guy, it would make sense to use that word ("masculine") since most heterosexual men are not necessarily masculine (and many are quite effeminate, esp. in appearance). It's the same thing as saying that an educated, articulate black man is "white-acting" or that a successful female business owner is "acting like a man." Why do you want to perpetuate negative stereotypes?

I'm not trying to perpetuate stereotypes of any kind, Rick. In fact, it's precisely in order to avoid stereotypes that I asked for your suggestions. I wasn't sure which of the several possibilities would annoy you the least. If you are not offended by "masculine," then of course that's the word I'll use.

I didn't know I was the only gay person on the board! Btw, I'm neither annoyed nor offended.

I doubt very much that you're the only gay person on the board, silly! But you are the one person -- or maybe you're just the most frequent person -- to comment on the vocabulary we use. I agree with your criticisms, but what frustrates me is not getting your suggestions for suitable alternatives.

Only when it comes to "straight acting"! I think there are other schoolmarms who comment on vocabulary in general. :p

I really don't have any suggestions. I use "masculine." Or maybe "butch," but that sounds kind of lesbian, no? Oh wait, I like "macho," or is that too 70s?

I almost always hire providers who advertise as "bottoms" because I enjoy admiring a hot ass up-close, rimming it, and engaging in other types of ass-play with a sexy, firm bubble-butt. But quite often, probably 50 percent of the time, we get-off without fucking. You are definitely not the only one who doesn't have to go "all the way" with every guy they hire.
