Correction.

 

I do disagree a bit with your calling the mirror shots "narcissistic".

My use of the words "another narcissistic escort" suggested the lumping of one escort with another. My mistake and I apologize for that. I meant to say and should have written, "Looking at oneself in the mirror reminds me of a narcissistic escort who will remain unnamed. IMO, there is nothing sexy about narcissism."

 

On the other hand, it is my opinion that any photo of someone staring, eye-to-eye, at his or her mirror reflection can be categorized as narcissistic by default. The eye-to-eye visual implies loving one's reflection and, unless the model is known to be a blind man, the suggestion is too powerful to ignore. The minute the model's eyes are diverted elsewhere, all self-loving meaning disappears (well, almost). So, mirror shots can be free from narcissism as long as the model isn't gazing into his own eyes.

 

To be precise, I did not intend to accuse David of being a narcissist. It became quite clear to me that the mirror images were not self-portraits, the mirror images were not David's idea, and it would be unfair to call him out on these choices when they didn't originate with him.
