Ex-Yankee now my friend. It'll be 92+ degrees today here Laredo. They expect an inch of snow/slush tonight in the Big Apple. I've become quite fond of their weather - watching it on TV. You really should visit. Our air-conditioning is great: ubiquitous even (Now how often do you get to use THAT word?). Kuala Lumpur comes later.

 

I am in real need of a masseur. There's nothing here along the border (at least on this side). I'm told there are a few across in Mexico but it's not worth risking it right now. I've been diligent in the weight room but as a result now need a bit of kneading.

San Antonio is almost a wasteland when it comes to "friendly" and competent massage guys as well as escorts--with the noteable exception of one highly regarded and well regarded escort who is also engenders spirited debate every time his name comes up (wink, wink, nod, nod). Unless you are looking for that certain escort, who we won't name to keep the screaming emails to a minimum, I suggest that you go up the road about 75 miles and take a look at Austin. The massage guys tend to be less "interactive" than you might want, but the escorts in Austin are nice and play well (I like Brandon, especially). All in all, I am still partial to Houston as it seems to have some very high-quality massage guys that provide thorough "stress relief" without charging an arm and a leg and the escort scene among the local guys is top-notch (with some interesting visitors from time to time)--especially Alan Ladd (my favorite).

I've a two and a half hour drive to get to San Antonio for a meeting and getting beyond to Austin won't be feasible this trip. Got to get back that night to feed the dogs.
