God bless you in your innocence, skyski, but you just reopened the Great BN Flame War. I can't believe it's been 53 whole minutes and the site has still not been reduced to a glowing pile of embers.

 

Maybe we have grown more forgiving here. Who knows, maybe we now have the inner grace to allow others to express their various takes on BN w/o spilling blood on the ground.

 

Most likely, though, it's just that the principal combatants all went to bed early tonight and the Zombiefied corpse of the BN War will once again claw its way out of the grave. Anyone care to make a prop bet on how long it takes for Daddy to lock this thread?

I have been with Ben MANY times over the last six years and let me tell you you are headed towards a magnificent experience. I've always wanted to meet the elusive and wonderful BN, even in his early days in chicago. Sadly, our schedules never coincided. I'm sure he will be a wonderful escort for those he sees; unfortunately, i've never been one of them. He's aged a bit for my current tastes though.

Judging by Daddy's post, I doubt this thread is long for this world.

 

And, really, it seems like it's just Glutes (bless his cantankerous unforgiving heart) against the world this go around. Maybe we can pat down a shovelful of dirt on the grave one last time and let the Fabulous BN War finally rest in peace. Even the War Between the States petered out eventually.

I contacted BN before I was a member of this forum and had no idea who he is, just by chance I was looking for someone in the San Antonio area. His response was quick, friendly and we started a really enjoyable and totally spontaneous email exchange.

 

Everytime I have written he has answered. If all goes as planned I will have the opportunity to experience this incredible guy personally in the near future, so my experience to date as a complete rookie has been nothing short of outstanding and I don't expect that to change after we have the chance to meet.
