I saw on another thread that my buddy Jawjateck said that he had done over 100 overnites. I was like, geez, that's a helluva lot... he's a big slut. Then I started wondering, how many have I done?..... since I started this phase of my odd life. So I sat down, out of a rather morbid, fiscal curiosity and as kind of a memory exercise and made an exact list. To my best recollection and my accountant's horror, here it is:

*The numbering skips for multiple times with the same guy and for multiple nights.

Let's not do the math on that, shall we? Fees, airfare, hotel... oh, my. No wonder American, United and Marriott fucking love me....

Should be kind of sobering to me, but most of it has been well worth it. It's just me here with a very tiny and very bossy dog. No one went hungry or without anything because I chose this as a hobby.

No regrets.

Anyway, bet you all that my list pales in comparison to Best Hotel's or bart's or Epigonous' or Oliver's or Dick Ho's or sf.westcoaster's ...care to share, boys?

Okliehomo,

All I can say is that YOU are my idol!

WOW. I have met about 20% of the guys on your list, for a much shorter period, and I thought I was randy - but youm add new meanign to the mix, and frankly, UNITED, AMERICAN, MARRIOTT should give you a very special place (with seat and room engraved).

Wow! I would never be able to reconstruct my hiring history with such precision. Okie, with such an amazing memory, you are immune to the effects of the brew. Drink on, my friend! It is interesting that with our parallel years in this hobby, we only have about 12 common hires. And you have some names on your list that I missed out on big time. And some of these names bring back some smokin' hot memories.

Maybe we will have the opportunity to make another hot memory this July 4th. ;)

During my 1st couple of years have hiring, I would often try to count up how many different guys I had been with-- just for my own edification. Now I've been hiring for about 9 years-- I've lost track. I'm not saying I've met as many guys as Okie or some of the rest-- but almost a decade of hiring and my advancing age-- have probably consigned some escorts way into the mists of memory-- never to be recalled-- except for an occasional vague grin on my face.

Show off!!

I humbly bow to you.

Friend you are impressive. You have met such a variety of men, a few clinkers.

Just think how big the list would be if a no-show or two had made it in.

Jawja I am not surprised that much of the list is not the same as you and Okie take different sides of the bed.

I am not even going to make the attempt as many of mine were of the 2-3 hour variety and my memory is not as good as yours.

I did not keep notes and can not search my email as that changed half-way through.

Hey TyGRRRRR that would be amazing, but also frightening to those here who think "he is all mine" and then to see how much he has been around the corner. Best left sleeping dogs lie.

Interesting point! Once I used a masseur (who no longer advertises) who sent out monthly email blasts (through the BCC field) to all his clients with updates, pictures and special promotions of his services. Which is fine. One day though, he accidentally attached an Excel spreadsheet to his email blast. This spreadsheet showed detailed information, during the last 3 years (!) of:

- date and time of appointment (2-3 per day apparently)

- name of customer

- telephone number of customer

- email address of customer

- duration of the appointment

- fees and tips paid

- his 'personal comments'

Samples of his 'personal comments' were: 'drunk', 'pyscho - avoid', 'fat priest', ...

Needless to say, I asked to be removed from his mailing list and never used his services again. And, although I don't know this for sure, I am most probably not the only customer who came to that conclusion. But I am sure that 'fat priest' felt very rewarded for his many years of loyal service :)

First off--congrats to Okie on surviving cancer. It must have been quite a road given the time involved. The pre-'01 list is an exercise in nostalgia, not because I shared many of the experiences (very few, in fact), but because many were "aspirational" hires for the many of the rest of us. I also had one indirect overlap---I did meet Jason Branch in the context of his day job and later, when he toured in a play, but never had the pleasure of his professional company.

Not long ago someone asked me my number and, at first, I didn't realize that a log like Okies what what they wanted and then I couldn't come up with one. They then through out numbers which helped and I was surprised where my number would be. Mostly, I attributed that to overseas travel where the cost makes more experiences possible. In the US, it's always been a "special occasion" thing and I have hired less in recent years as other experiences in my life have increased.

From the very beginning I kept a careful list of hires, partly because I was a strict budgeter, and partly because I am a compulsive list maker. In the first thirty years I probably spent less than you did in 2010, mainly because I did short apointments rather than overnighters. You and jjt probably should be designated as "emperors" with such a history.

My gosh, I feel like I'm in the presence of royalty (no obvious comments, please). Okie, you are soooo my idol and you have demonstrated a uncanny knack for picking guys that I can only dream about! It's a shame you didn't do more pictures -I see a coffee table book here with the words "Best seller" (or maybe more accurately, "best buyer") emblazoned all over it!

Congratulations on a life that most of us can only fantasize about!

Okliehomo you flatter the hell out of me. We really aren’t even in the same league. Your numbers make me blink and turn green with envy.

I like jawjatec find it nearly impossible to reconstruct my hiring history with such precision. I started hiring in the fall of 2002. I would estimate that between then and now I have hired between thirty-five and forty “DIFFERENT” escorts. I can’t even remember the names of ten or more of them, however, for some reason I seem able to remember where I hired them. During my first three or four years of hiring I was like a kid in a candy store. I flew all over to get together with guys in places like Austin, Tampa, New York, Chicago, Vancouver, San Francisco, Acapulco and London. I have done repeats with about ten of these guys and currently am seeing only three of them on a regular basis. As time has gone by I seem to seek out fewer and fewer new guys. I find I am more comfortable with my regulars.

However, I am still planning, in the not too distant future, to get together with Kristian and Derek in Los Angeles and Bill in Boston.

I started hiring in 1978, back in the days when an advertisement consisted of a few lines in The Advocate pink pages followed by a phone number. And over the ensuing 3+ decades, I don't think I've hired as many different escorts as you have managed to do in your relatively much shorter period of time. I've had a tendency to sink in to "regular" repeat relationships, and when/if those wear out to experiment with others until settling again into a repeat relationship. Quite a few names on your list are folks that I had thought about hiring, and a handful are folks I have actually hired (including David once). But I would hesitate to add up the total bill, and could not possible reconstruct a list like that.

Many thanks, boys...

Really. It's been a great time.

Like I have said here before, when it came back Stage 3, and I had to seriously consider that my oh so charmed life wasn't that, at all, after all.... I was very happy that I had had the chance to meet some of the most beautiful men in the world... and that they had allowed me to discover my real sexuality in a way that I hadn't been able to do completely with boyfriends. I knew what I really liked the minute that Ridge turned over, onto his stomach, spread his legs, really wide and said, "Eat that ass, boy.." A turning point, no doubt. And Shirley Maclaine and Anne Bancroft, nowhere insight, thank God.

Rick Munroe has always accused me of "retiring" since 2004. And he's SO right. If I had any financial sense, I certainly would have..... but like the Supremes sing about...you all keep me hanging on....and there ain't nothing I can do about it... right?

Now, about ranking.... hmm... not yet.

And about the no shows... well..... there is really only ONE real no show. And he had the balls to do it three times...this year...

The other guys just had issues.... like..

Brock Hart... fell off a mountain and broke his leg.

Mark/Central Ill....... traffic jam at OHare, missed his plane.

Brad Boyd.... same thing.

Christopher/NYC..... boyfriend drama.

Jay/Hollywood.... camera shy. Twice. But I still really want him.

Ken Spears..... my fault really. The weekend before I started oral chemo, I wanted to have a big rim out while I was still me......so, I booked Mark/Chicago for Sat nite and Ken Spears for Sunday nite .... but my chemo anxiety got the best of me on Sunday morning, and I called and cancelled on him...

Oh...and guys, please do not believe for one single minute that bart or Jawja or best (!!!!!) can't put together a list... or gman or JT, either.... or whipped...

If I can, they can.... I'm the drunk, all peculiar and fussy, remember?

The Best that 2011 has to offer to my Friend Okie also! He definitely appreciates the "Working Man" the way they should be and vice versa!

I'm sure they wish ALL the Clients they run across could be just like Okie! That's a statement made by one of the Hunkiest to ever "Work It" Mark/Chicago a good friend of us both.
