BC -- I guess the list would probably be a lot shorter if you asked "Has anyone NOT detected professional jealousy". Of course not every escort is like that. But that certainly is not an uncommon trait either.

It happens

 

It happens in every profession. I see that in my profession all the time and sometimes it makes me suffocate. I don't think the escort business is no exception. Good thing is that competition and jealousy help escort to improve their service and specialize so I guess it's a good thing although it's a bit negative quality. Hugs~~

I'm sure there is, but when you really think about it...there's just not a great reason to be jealous. Everyone has qualities that people go after. I've def. had some issues with jealously in the past. I think the best way of dealing with it is to somewhat limit your circle of friends who possess similar qualities if they are in the same business. Because truth is, every individual male escort is a competitor unless they are the opposite sex or T/S. Once I stopped being friends with competitors, suddenly I had a new outlook.

 

Of course it helps to be in a place where there's really not many to begin with. I notice you're in New York which has tons of escorts so I'm sure the possibility of jealously increases because everyone is competing very hard on some level. When you're equal in distance to about 500 miles from the nearest major city in every direction, a lot of that jealously tends to evaporate. There's less transients polluting the water supply so you have a bit more leverage and can tailor yourself without having to constantly deal with a new guy popping up every single day. Sometimes jealously is good as long as it doesn't turn to envy. But its very hard not to cross those lines.
