This sequence wouldn't do what I wanted it to do, and the more I fiddled with it the less I liked it. I'm going to post it anyway. Maybe some of you can get something out of it.

JAG - pairing this with your thread today on Mapplethorpe, you did a great service - here are photos where it seems that the photographer was inspired by R.M.'s plays on light and dark, shadoes and contours. It is amazingly beautiful, sensuous and yet also very artistic. Each one of these photos has an amazing pull of the eye to the light and what the light bathes so gently; love in some of them, the play of light off sweat or water; and the reflective mirrors - absolutely amazing.

 

But more in my own character... I want to close the door in the sauna with #9 and leave me alone with him for an hour or two, ok???

JAG -- I'm with adriano on this. Sometimes it's great to see the artistic display of the male anatomy which you so beautifully gave us today. So many of the photos are just eyecatching in their beauty. The darkness of many of them makes them appealing to me. I would like to spend a long time getting to know the guy in #6. And I'm just drawn to the suggestiveness of #4.

 

It doesn't always have to be about pure animal lust and sexuality. Every so often, a step back to appreciate what the male anatomy can display artistically is really appreciated. At least by me. So thank you for these pictures.

Thanks for this post... as has so eloquently been said already, these are beautiful shots... the play of light and dark really adds to the sensuality of the photos... and I could probably spend some time with any one of them and enjoy! Sauna or not....

Oh so nice . . .

 

JAG . . . Talk about works of art. The lighting and composition, combined with the hot sweaty bodies on this collection is truly amazing.

 

I could especially go for #'s 2 with those erect nips and shimmering abs, 3 with his dark and sultry looks, 9, I totally agree with Adriano & 10, also a nice hot and sweaty man!

Thanks, guys. I'm glad you liked them. Well after I posted, I figured out an arrangement that would have pleased me. At the time, though, I had a specific sequence in mind and was too stubborn to let it go. Again, thanks for your enjoyment.
