Lousy Photos

When I've looked at others' ads I'll admit I wonder why more don't use self-timers. I guess a lot of cell phones don't have them, but a lot do, as well as pretty much every digital camera.

 

I also like the webcam. I added it to my site for exactly the purpose Mark mentions - that it shows how you look right now, today.

many, many, MANY years ago I did sit for a couple of professional photographers who made a part of their living selling to mags (like HONCHO)

and it surprised me that they each took 200-300 pictures, chose 20-30 of those to send to the magazine, of which only 10-15 ever got printed.

 

That's actually still the process today, although with the advent of digital photography (and eliminating the expense of film and processing) they shoot MORE photos if anything.

I particularly chuckle at escort ads that make a big deal about "I won't show my face for reasons of discretion" and then their cellphone photos show them turning away from the picture, leaving their faces fully visible in THE MIRROR BEHIND THEM. LOL
