Anyone know of any pubs, bars, stations, streets, etc, where rentboys hang out in London??

I'm interested in guys not advertising on the net or magazines, just available for cash.

Any ideas???

howcroft,

I am so happy you asked this question as I have the same enquiring mind regarding London. I'll be there in about 10 days and wondered if any bar/pub scene had sprung up recently. I have been travelling to London for years and, frankly, have found the escort scene rather sad there. Never really found anything of that nature in the pubs. Was told once that there are working boys at the Quebec bar by Marble Arch. I never saw rentboys there in numerous visits I made. Also, I had heard over the years that there was occassional "action" on the streets around Kings Cross train station. I never really looked for it however.

Like howcroft, I am interested in hearing the latest on rentboy places in London

I know you're looking for guys NOT advertising but there are hundreds of guys available online. Almost all escort work is advertised online but you can use the net to meet guys who need some extra cash. I suggest you do two things: take out a cheap membership to Gaydar to find commercial and non-commercial guys; and put an advert of your own in CraigsList London Men Seeking Men.

Rentboy places as such barely exist. Villa Gianni is said to still be open for business; the Quebec pub is where

the young meet their daddies (not always for money). Otherwise streetwork is very rare and rather dangerous.

Thanks, MscleLovr. I am a gaydar member and know about the other ways of contacting. Just curious about what might be happening, as it were, on the streets. How is the Quebec these days??? Any other options???

I have not been in 3-4 years, but based on MuscLovr comments the age distribution of patrons at the Quebec must have broadened since my last vist. When I was going there more regularly, you could count on one hand the number of patrons that were under 50yo. It looked to me to be predominantly older patrons with older patrons. One mght see the vary occassional 30yo there but frankly it was rare. I am pleased with this apparent new development and I will make a point to get to the Quebec when I am in London later this month.

Don't misinterpret what I wrote, EZEtoGRU. There are NOT lots of young guys looking for daddies; it is a minority interest after all. My point is that the venue is known for that, and a young guy would go there for that ( or perhaps to earn some cash)

And to answer Howcroft, there really isn't a street scene. As your similar post in the street scenes thread showed, it's left only to the low of the low or the most desperate (homeless, druggies etc) nowadays. While on gaydar, if my experience is anything to go by, you can meet handsome young men who do not advertise commercially but are grateful if you supplement their income.

FWIW I have 3 regulars I met on gaydar. They have terrific bodies and are passionate in bed; I give them dinner and a little cash each time; the downside is that as non-commercial guys our dates may be hard to arrange and are subject to last minute changes - just like an ordinary date in fact.

Thanks Mscle for the clarification. I think I was over-reading something in your response. My bad. I do still plan to get to the Quebec at least one night to see what is happening. Also, your suggestion on Gaydar is a good one. Perhaps I will sign myself up. I too often prefer the non-professionals. Thanks!!

I have had very good experiences contacting guys in London through Gaydar. I met several professional guys in the non-commercial section and had some very fun times. In addition to the fun in my room, they offered, and I accepted to go with a couple of them to dinner (dutch treat) as well as to go to some of the neighborhood bars that I would probably never have visited without some local direction. I also met a couple of great guys in the commercial section of gaydar in London. Also, Villa Gianni is available and you can go look and not partake if you don't find anyone to your liking. I strongly urge you NOT to try the street scene in London. O agree with MscleLvr's comments about that. The guys I met through the non-commercial section of Gaydar also told me the same. So, enjoy London and all the friendly guys there. I have always had a great time when I have been in London.

I am in London currently and went to the Quebec tonight (Monday night). Whilst the bar caters mostly to older patrons, MscleLovr is correct, there are a few younger guys there that may be chasing older men. None were obvious rent-type guys. It was quiet given it was a Monday. Nothing too interesting for me. I had two pints and called it a night. Perhaps more interesting on a weekend. I would say the age distribution was as follows:

Over 60yo 60%

Between 50&60yo 20%

Between 40&50yo 10%

Under 40yo 10%

Most of the under 50yo were asian from what I could tell.

Where did you find Lito? where does he list?

I don't know if there's copyright in escort profile names but "LitoCruz" has a profile on gayromeo.com: 38 yr old Argentine pornstar, currently in Paris. He advertises an XXL dick and was in London on 21 January, so that part fits Londonclient's report.

Btw - what have you found the best times for visiting Villa Gianni in terms of number and choice, thanks
