I am not doing this justice ... There is a natural look to every part of these vintage guys that I just can't put into words. These photos make me want to reach out and hug them for dear life. Can someone say it better?

I think I know what you're saying here. Besides coming across as the average, un-wordly, young men next door, the guys in these photos don't exhibit the anxious self-consciousnous that seems so common among guys (particularly straight guys) these days. Can you imagine any of these guys wearing big baggy board shorts, refusing to shower at the pool or gym, or insisting on changing under a towel for fear of being seen naked?

These vintage photos remind me of my late high school and early college years, when I would sneak in NYC, go into one of the many movie houses on 42nd street (pre-Disneyland), and see what happened... Usually, as I was only 16 or 17 and always dressed in a preppy style, I had a guy sit next to me, and then had that wonderful thrill of his hand on my knee, thigh... and then.... uhhhhhhh Once I turned 18 and was "old enough" to go into the magazine stores, these mags offered hours of relaxing as I paged them, checking out these great '50's and early '60's photos (amazingly occasionally seeing an up and coming movie star in earlier photos as he was trying to get a foot in the door in Hollywood and posed in these pouches... anyway it was a totally different era. Then we had too movie houses such as KINGS....
