He had some fairly bad reviews--I think they were text reviews on M4RN--which don't appear to have followed him to his new locale.

He probably recognized that his reputation of unreliability was no longer paying-off in DFW and decided to move shop elsewhere...and he's increased his hourly rate to $250 in SF, too. His fee in Dallas was about $150 per hour. Even at that low-ball rate his fee was too high for services rendered.
