Sauna Thermas Barcelona and Sauna Adan Madrid

Any updates on the quality and quantity of boys at these saunas? There was a report a few months ago regarding a police crackdown of Brazilians over staying their visas in Madrid and I was wondering if the situation had settled down.

One of my buddies is in Madrid now...his first day was Sunday and he was somewhat disappointed by the selection at Adan. Nonetheless he had programas with two guys, both Brazilians. He admitted to being exhausted from the trip over..and maybe the day after Christmas was bound to be a slow day. On Monday night he said there was a "nice selection" of guys...much better than the night before. He started with a Brazilian, followed by a north African, and finished up with a 20 year old from Moldavia. From the sound of it, there is good quality and a variety of guys from which to choose. He hasnt noticed any fewer Brazilians than on prior trips.

 

I am heading to Barcelona soon, arriving January 8. I'll be there until the 11th...then heading to Madrid for 3 nights....back to Barcelona for 3 more. Hopefully the saunas will be full and the selection good. I've chatted with a couple Brazilians via gayromeo. A number of them were heading home for Christmas but planned on being back shortly after New Year. From the number of Brazilians advertising on gayromeo and telechapero, the police crackdown was either temporary or didnt have much impact.

There has always been a good selection of guys.....many Brazilians but also Cuban, Colombian, African, Romanian, Bulgarian, and the odd Spaniard. I never had a problem finding something interesting. As far as the sauna facilities themselves are concerned, I don't really like it. Quite rundown and, frankly, dirty. For some reason, they seem to have no-one cleaning at Adan. My MO is to find something I like at the sauna and then meet him elsewhere (ie at my hotel or at Black & White).

 

I visited Termos in Barcelona once this year. The actual sauna is streets ahead of Adan in terms of the facilities. It seems somewhat cleaner as well. I don't really like how they keep the upstairs part of the sauna so dark. Kind of creepy....and you really cannot see the boys that are trying to talk to you or touch you. Don't really get the dark thing. I like to see what I am going to hire before hiring!!! Selection of guys was very good. Again, many Brazilians.

visited both places late October last year, both had good number of boys, no hint of any police crackdown. Like thermas better since it's cleaner and has clean rooms for rent (10 Euro an hour) so it's more fun. More boys working in adan, but it's not as clean as thermas, and I don't see any good rooms for rent.

 

Thermas was busy early afternoon, seems to clear out quite early though on a Tuesday when I stopped by after 6pm. There were only one another customer, so I guess it's disappointing for the boys too. Only been there 3 times on weekdays, so no idea what the best hour would be.

Funny this thread popped up again today as I am in Madrid right now. Went to Adan this afternoon. Plenty of guys.....seemed to be mostly Eastern European today. Fewer Brazilians than I have seen before. Could be some of the Brazilian guys travelled to Brazil for Carnaval......which starts soon I believe.

Just returned from Adan in Madrid and Thermas in Barcelona in June 2011. Adan remains dirty and dark, but the video room has been "renovated." The quality of muscle guys has diminished since a year or 2 ago. The best looking body builder is a Bulgarian whose name escapes me now. He's 26, about 6' and 200 lbs. My experience with him was mixed. While he has a defined body, his hands constantly limited my exploration of his body. This was contrary to what he told me he would do. What are the general rates in Barcelona?

 

I assume you meet for the rentboys. You can get some of the lower quality guys for 30-40 Euros at the sauna. The better looking higher quality guys want 50 Euros and an additional 10-20 Euros if you want them to cum. At least that is my experience.....but then again I do not really negotiate too heavily with them. Maybe I am overpaying.

 

In Madrid, there is also a "male escort bar" called Black & White, in the Chueca district. The average charge for those guys is 100 Euros but you have to take them to your hotel or somewhere else. I have hooked up with guys from Black & White on multiple occassions.....and never had any problems. Always went back to my hotel with them. Indeed, some of the guys that work in Black & White also work in the Madrid Adan Sauna.
