Through escorting I've come across interesting situations and people. Sometimes my friends find my stories entertaining and almost unbelievable. However, they are all true. I decided to start a blog as sort of a diary of my adventures. If you have time can you please take a look and leave a comment http://gqpro.tumblr.com Thanks

blogs are fun to have, I just took a look at yours and will have to comment soon...but overtime I found it hard to keep up my blog with for whatever reason. I guess I prefer to talk about things on a forum where people are going to be at anyway than ablog, but it is still up and running and I still get surprised when clients mention having read my blog.

JoeyBryant,

Thanks for reading my blog...I'll look forward to your comments..I enjoy forums too but decided I want to keep some sort of diary of my adventures and I'm hoping some people may find my entries somewhat interesting and entertaining http://gqpro.tumblr.com

GQ , how about providing a link to you ads?

I agree. Without a link to your escorts ads, there's no credibility that you are indeed an actual escort. I would be more likely to follow your blog if I knew you were a legitimate escort. That said, the blog looks well-designed and you are a very capable writer. Congrats.

I'll have to think about providing a link to my escort ads. My intial intent in keeping my blog anoymous is to not accidently offend any clients I have who my come across my blog.

I read slowly and tend to be critical of what I read, so take this as you will. Your blog didn't do that much for me. For me at least, it would be more interesting if you gave less of what happened and more of how you felt. As written, the blog is oddly impersonal. What I mean is that it sounds as if it could have been written by anyone, even someone who hadn't escorted. I would find it more interesting if it gave more insight into what it's like to be an escort. Just my opinion.

As a client, I just can't help but think this sort of blog is a bad idea, especially if it becomes linked to the author. I can just imagine having a session and then reading about it in the blog a couple days later. Nope, not a good idea. Even if anonymous, I can see reading the blog and thinking, "OMG, he's talking about me." In this business complete discretion and privacy is a good thing.

I'd keep this blog anonymous. I do think however, that writing a blog could be a good way of sharing your thoughts on escorting...especially since it's sort of a subculture unto itself and not all your friends might be as understanding and would want to hear about it. Consider it your own anonymous personal diary. As a reader, i find it fascinating myself and am considering writing one about my escort and nonescort hookups. Not that my sex life is very exciting but sometimes i feel that it has taken enough twists and turns especially with some crazy hot guys that it might be good to put "pen to paper" so to speak. Not that I have that much time on my hands but something to consider down the road...

GQPro, i'd suggest that you keep up your blog. It's interesting to me and those that don't want to read it don't have to. I've also enjoyed reading the blogs of the other guy that i posted earlier (boy of negotiable affections).

bobchitown,

Thanks for your comments. The blog is a personal project of mine to express my thoughts and share my experiences. As far as writing about clients, I'm not using any of their real names and places where they are from. I've actually gotten some private replies here from guys who are really interested in what escorts may truly think. I understand discretion and privacy is important for many and will always keep that in mind. Thanks

Thank you for your input. You bring up some great ideas on how to improve upon my blog.

Thats possible, but just depends on how deep you go. Talking about the encounter verbatim may put some people off perhaps. There were sections on my blog in which I expressed my utmost dislike for Texas (while I was living there), and I'd simply get asked about in person. There was no reason for them to be offended though. That was MY issue....

I agree on keeping it anonymous. You always do a separate one as a marketing tool down the road. From 1998 to 2009 I saw around 7000 massage clients I have thought of doing a blog and telling those story's

Funny. As much as I think a blog about current encounters could be problematic, I'm thinking the kind of blog you're talking about of encounters going back as far as 10+ years ago would be fun to read and unlikely to offend anyone. I'm not sure if it has been mentioned on this thread, but an interesting example is "Stories from the Townhouse"

http://www.storiesfromthetownhouse.com/introduction.htm

but I'm not sure to what extent those stories are fictional.

There's also a bunch of stories floating around under the title of something like "Muscle Massuer" that are fun to read, but again most likely fiction.

As a leading escort I live in the shadows. This means that I NEVER discuss with anyone anything I do with any of my clients. Anonymously or not I would not do it- especially in public and the web is the ultimate public place. I believe the reason my clients like me is that I am, "The most discreet guy in the usa," to quote my own ad. Well, I am at least one of the most discreet. For an example I feel that the outing of Ted Haggard by Mike Jones years ago was wrong and I supported BN when he took a very public stand on this issue. I don't know BN but I supported him in front of and with the people I do know. Unless a client hurts you or threatens you there is NO REASON TO EVER discuss them publicly. Now, the fact is (and it is a fact) that the Rev. Haggard saw at least one other escort. That particular escort could have come forward and madesome money, got some fame and whatever but He chose not to do it. Why? Because of the Prime Directive in this biz: DISCRETION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Especially in this techno-crazed generation our privacy and secrets must be trusted and with me the client/escort priveledge is protected as much as Doctor/patient or attorney/client. That is our hypocratic oath- first, do no harm. Finally: what bothers me about Haggard now is that he truly says he is straight even after all this shit but is that a reason to out a guy as a client of an escort? No, it is not! It is unprofessional.

Thanks for your kind words. I've tweaked a few more items already. Again, the purpose of the blog isn't to market myself or expose anyone ( all names and locations have been changed) . I'm writing the blog as a personal project and to hopefully give insight into the world of escorting. Below is a link to my blog titled, Secret Escapdes of a Gay Gigolo

http://gqpro.tumblr.com/

I enjoyed reading the blog and I thought it was set up in a classy fashion...bravo.

I am sure the confidentiality issue can easily be avoided by just tweaking a few items.

Keep up the good work...keep writing and I will keep reading

Secret Escapades of a Gay Male Escort

Glad you enjoyed reading it. I just posted an entry that people may find very interesting.

It's my experiences with str8 males who are into being "forced-bi"

Thanks,

I think it is a GOOD IDEA ----> AS LONG AS THE ESCORT CAN MAINTAIN INTEGRITY AND PRIVACY IN HIS BLOGS!!! I have a blog that I keep fresh every day and write about all my experiences and many times when I travel with a client then I write about it in my blog. But my client's name never gets mentioned, nor did what we just do in bed ... these are all private things. But I am more than happy to tell people where we went to and what we experienced. It is all about maturity I think...

If you check out my blog, I think you will see I've maintained both intergrity and privacy. I'm not using my stage name nor am I using any of the real names of my clients. I've actually been told by some guys who use escorts that they like my blog because it gives a honest perspective of what may go through an escorts mind
