In New York, backpage has very little to offer, but there are still many pros and semi-pros who post on Craigslist's men seeking men page. Search for code words like "generous" or "gen". And the usual places (rentboy, rentmen, etc.) all have plenty of listings.

I agree about using the Theraputic Services sectin of CL. Many of the guys in Houston have "migrated" to this section and have cautiously worded their postings towards the massage end of things. THe key phrase is "stress relief" (or similar) and their photo (accompanying the ad) as well as their followup when you contact them by either phone or email/text. I have had a number of excellent sessions that begin as a massage and wind up as something more (escort session). I usually hire someone from CL on a try-out basis and just see where things go and how the chemistry develops. As of now, I've developed three quality "business" relationships with guys on CL, but it does take time to get the level of service and the level of quality needed or wanted.
