Hello everyone,

I will be visiting Boston, Massachusetts On Monday, November 1st and will be departing early Thursday afternoon, November 4th. Since this will be my first time visiting Boston I am unsure of where to stay... Earlier this month I posted a thread in regards to hotel suggestions in Manhattan, New York and the responses I received were very helpful (Thanks guys!). I figured I'd post a new thread asking If some of you could suggest a few hotels for me to stay during my visit in Boston? Thank you so much for your time and consideration and I look forward to my Boston trip and meeting all of you.

November 1st - 4th: Boston, Ma.

November 4th - 9th: Manhattan, NY

November 9th - 12th: Washington DC

Warmest Regards,

AJ Irons

jealous of you guys back east....I met with AJ a couple months ago in his native Orange County, CA, and he was really my type: low-key, smart, entirely masculine/straight-acting, very chatty and friendly, tight and lean body, not at all distracted or bored, easy-going....and he drives one of the best vehicles around.....

be patient for email replies!!.....

Boston Hotels

Hi AJ, glad to see you are coming to Boston. I did a quick search for the days you are planning to come to town. I don't know what is going on that week but it seems expensive for Boston that time of the year. The financial district is where I like to stay. It is in the middle of everything, the Omni Parker House is my favorite. Backbay is also good also but more money. The waterfront area is mostly new hotels sometimes you can get a deal. Cambridge is near most Boston area with nce hotels. The airport is cheaper but then you are not in town and cabs can be expensive.

Hope this helps and hope to maybe meet. If you have any questions on a specific hotel or area email me direct.

Persoanally stay away from the Park Plaza I thin it's a dump.

One suggestion and two ideas

Hey AJ,

I would stay either in downtown crossing/financial district or Back Bay. Cambridge and the Logan airport aren't far but you won't be able to walk and you have to cab everywhere. As Irishguybos noted, hotel rates are higher than usual at this time of the year in this in the three cities you'll be visiting.

On a past trip, I discovered the recently opened Ames Hotel, part of the Morgans group (ex Ian Shrager). It has a great location: State and Court street and a very trendy/sleek design. Other places to consider: Nine Zero hotel, Liberty hotel (a former jail) and the new W hotel on Tremont street.

That being said let me throw out an idea or two. When traveling escorts use Priceline and get some very interesting and attractive hotel rates. You specify the rating/stars and the location you're looking for. The disadvantage is that you never know which property you'll be getting at the time of booking. Another thought would be to select a major hotel chain and stick with it when traveling. Your loyalty will pay off in the mid and long term. Give it some thought.

Hotels in Boston.

I really like the Onyx, which as a Kimpton Hotel is gay Friendly. It is not downtown, but still convenient to most things, they have another one right on the common which is also nice. Just be prepared Hotels in Boston are very expensive as a rule
